"Me & my boyfriend went for my birthday,got an upgrade to the garden of Eden Apple room it was very clean . Very friendly staff, especially Jo Jo in the restaurant & Fran . Everything in the room worked well, especially the hot tub . Very good amenities for the guests . We loved the couples bowling , and the trails . We will be returning back "

"The condo was ideal for an ice fishing vacation but the fish were very uncooperative. I suggest the host add a frying pan to the limited cookware selection."

"Excellent house. very clean. owner was very responsive and Barbara who checked us in and lives in the next door house really worked hard to take care of every request, even bringing over her cast iron pot because my son wanted to make French Onion Soup.I would stay again. Great location. View was fabulous. Dock was terrific to fish off of. Quiet and lovely.My only complaint was that the 4th bedroom did not have a door on it. It was really the sitting area outside of the 3rd bedroom and the third bedroom had to walk through the 4th bedroom to get to the bathroom. But we figured it out and all was terrific. Thank you very much to the owners and especially to Barbara who checked us in. "

"The photos do not lie, this home is beautiful. There are a few quirky things, like we couldn’t figure out how to get any of the AC units working with the remote - however, I know if I would have texted them, they would have helped immediately but the weather was cool so we didn’t need them. The basement and 2 extra bedrooms downstairs would be a PERFECT addition, but it does look like they are remodeling. Great communication with the host. Beautiful stay!"

"This property was overpriced. As other reviews noted, the basement bedroom had a sharp musty odor - also, the ceiling was not finished in the basement; you could see the insulation through a hole in the ceiling. There was a humidifier in the basement but it did not alleviate the smell. Several of the pans were not clean (literally had food and/or grease on them) and some of the mugs were not properly cleaned (i.e. coloration came off when I washed them). The kitchen is not properly stocked; I could not find even one cereal bowl and had to eat from a mixing bowl. The paint was peeling on the sinks and showers; the house had not been properly renovated in a few decades. While the picture makes the property look private, it is surrounded by houses on all sides with a noisy road nearby. At breakfast, we sat outside staring at two cars in the neighboring driveway and a bunch of houses. If you are looking for a tranquil retreat in the woods, this is not it. We might have overlooked one or more of these issues at half the price but at this price point, we expected more. The house is spacious, if a bit oddly laid out, but is not a proper 4 bedroom. It was clean apart from the dirty dishes which were pretty gross."

"This place is so cute and extremely clean. We were very comfortable here. Love the coffee set up and the bright lighting in the shower. The bed was very comfortable. We really appreciated the attention to extra details."
