"This was a very comfortable stay. The room was in great condition and a peaceful vibe. They need to update their in room menu though. I was expecting burgers but things had changed to Indian food. "

"What a cool property! It’s just like the pictures and matches the descriptions. We had 15 adults and everyone fit comfortably with room to spare.The hosts were great about communication before the stay, and check in was a breeze thanks to Carrie. They even greeted us with wine and snacks!There was no need to reach out to them during our stay because everything went smoothly. I’d definitely recommend this place and would go back if we have a large group in that area again."

"Very quaint hotel on the town square with shops and a restaurant. The hotel also had a small coffee / tea shop. The tea was excellent. I never had loose leaf tea anywhere and this was superior to any tea bag. Staff were friendly and the room were very clean. This is an older hotel with charm. Local artwork on the walls for sale. Next door is a great gem and mineral gallery that also carried dinosaur teeth and small bones and other fossils."

"Palacio is an understatement. The place sprawls. We were nine. Twice that number probably would work. Lots of nice outdoor space, too. Great art on the walls accentuates the nice architectural detail of the building. Located conveniently between Taos and the ski valley. If I were to find one fault, the palace does not afford views of the mountains and mesa from its interior."

"The location is wonderful. Beds were comfortable. We did not spend much time in the space and did not use the kitchen. The back patio is adorable. There are no bathroom amenities so make sure you have your own. The shower has exposed brick the smell is quite overwhelming. There was something scratching across the roof all night, we suspect a critter. It would have been nice to be able to use the kiva but there were fake candles inside it instead. When we arrived to the address we were given at 11pm we weren't given the unit number. So it was frustrating to not have the correct check in information available. Although host quickly answered their phone to clarify the unit we were in. Beyond that our stay was good the space was cleaned. They asked us to pull sheets/towels and start our laundry but they were put of detergent."

"We enjoyed experiencing earthship living for ourselves. The accommodations were very comfortable. We were definitely conscientious in the use of our water knowing that drought conditions applied. Living alongside a garden with flowering plants and fruit trees made the environment beautiful and also less clean than we are accustomed to. Although unavoidable, the accumulation of dust tracked in from outside made keeping the floors clean a challenge. Perhaps a paved or gravel path might help alleviate some of this issue.We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit and the Mountain View’s. We took full advantage of seeing the sunrise each morning from the comfort of the Adirondack chairs around the fire pit. We also enjoyed viewing the stars at night with the advantage of a dark night sky. Thank you!"
