We hung around a pool all day, took a sunset camel ride to a secluded desert camp, had a beautiful dinner and show, slept under the stars, then went sandboarding in the morning- a wonderful time. Only downside was the 114F heat, which made it a bit hot to sleep in the tent. Well worth the trip to Merzouga.

Amazing adventure!
We had an amazing time at our camp. We left the pickup location at 5:30pm instead of 4pm because of the heat, and that was our choice, though heavily recommended. The camel ride was fun, took about an hour to get to camp. The camp had western luxuries right there. Hot running water, lights, etc. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. We took our own alcohol, and we were glad because they didn’t serve any. Our beds were comfortable and the tents spacious. We attempted to see the sunrise but were caught in a wind storm, it’s the tail end of the season for it. Sandboarding was fun too, it’s easy so give it a try. The picturesque views were worth the adventure to the sahara! Moha was very responsive on whatsapp and we were not nervous about getting picked up at all.
