Paradise!
We enjoyed our stay very much! The condo is beautiful, clean, well maintained and nicely updated. Laundry in the unit was a huge plus! The bed in the master bedroom is amazingly comfortable! The grounds are awesome. Very short walk to the beach and marina. Even shorter walk to the pool, playground/swings and pickle ball/tennis courts. I was worried about the pool being crowded since it was spring break, but it was not. We were always able to find a spot to put our belongings. The pictures in the listing do not do this place justice - it's very, very nice! We would definitely return and stay again.

Very Disappointed
The condo and the property were not as they were described in VRBO website and by the comments from the owner. No restaurant and bar on the property and it had closed in June 2023 enough time for us to be notified. No water view and the marina was not close to the condo. The balcony was small and most of the other balconies were the same size and had two small chairs. Ours had one chair, hard to have a glass of wine with my husband and see the sunset. A chair or a bench in the main bedroom would have been nice and there were no dish towels. Also a grab bar in the second bathroom would have been a great safety feature. The whole experience causes us to not rent through VRBO in the future.

Joyce, I'm genuinely sorry to hear about your disappointing experience. It's certainly disheartening when a rental doesn't live up to your expectations. My experience with you with the numerous amounts of texts and phone calls leads me to believe that you are very difficult to please. Your feedback about the lack of communication regarding the closure of the restaurant and bar, as well as the absence of water views and nearby marina, is not accurate. We do not advertise water views, the closure of the restaurant was removed from advertisement and from your contract until new lease agreements can be secured and everything on the property is within walking distance. Additionally, the balcony sizes are the same for all of the units. If you wanted another chair just bring one from inside. The absence of dish towels was taken care of. Your suggestions for improvements, such as adding a chair or bench in the main bedroom and installing a grab bar in the second bathroom, are valuable insights. Thank you for your stay!

Ocean Pointe Condo
Very nice place and location is great. The beach towels provided are paper thin and not good, so bring your own. Overall clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this place.

Little Family Get Together
We loved our time here. It was perfect for our little family get together. The place is beautifully designed and comfortable. The pool was amazingly refreshing and so much fun. Our hosts were extra helpful with any questions we had.

Clean and nice community
The condo unit was clean and beautiful. Beach was ok, seaweed can’t be helped. The restaurant on site was disappointing, only open for lunch and every day was a different start time.

Repeat stay
Stayed here 3 years ago. Liked it so much, we came back. The condo is clean, spacious and comfortable. As an end unit, you get all the end unit windows which allows you to enjoy the ocean breeze. The property is quiet. The pool was always warm with enough space no matter when you went. It’s the Keys so you have to drive everywhere, but there’s everything you need all within a 5 - 15 minute drive.

Great stay in Tavernier!!
We had a lovely time at this beautiful condo in Tavernier- great location, lots to see and do, convenient to get to wonderful restaurants. The resort was great- nice pool and great beach area… would highly recommend- hosts were very nice!

Wonderful Property, Great Location
This is our second time to Ocean Pointe, staying in two different units. We absolutely love the property, all it has to offer and how beautifully maintained it is. We have come with our 9 yo son both times and the condos are great for families. We love having a nice place to hang our hat with full kitchen and washer/dryer. This unit is so nicely decorated and well-maintained. We stayed for 6 nights. They had both a keurig and regular coffee maker but we love the convenience of the k cups. Great dishwasher and ice maker in the fridge. There were a couple portable chairs, plenty of beach/pool towels and a styrofoam cooler. We fly into Miami, order grocery pick up at Walmart in Florida City and then drive down. On property the marina is fun to fish at and the pool area with hot tub is big and fun. There is a small bar there at the pool and near the marina. Things to note, but not complaints: 1. This unit is in building one, nearest the entrance, furthest from the pool and beach. No problem for us, as we love to walk the property, everything is close by. The landscaping is amazing. 2. This unit has 1 balcony overlooking vegetation, no water view. No problem for us, but understand that not all units have a water view. 3. The living room TV did not work (apart from Amazon Prime) for us. We happened to be staying during the masters so my hubby was hoping to tune in, but NBD. If cable is important - talk to owners before hand, it seemed to be connected for it, but not turned on. 4. Depending on preference or consumption you may need to bring extra TP, paper towels, soaps/shampoos and for sure laundry detergent. We packed some pods in a zip lock. 5. Also, I am a very light sleeper and during windy nights the windows and shutters etc were loud in the master. Again, not a complaint, but I needed to wear my noose cancelling buds. Great place to stay, beautifully decorated and finished with everything you need. It’s on the 3rd level.

A couple minor issues but a great place to stay
We had a couple small issues. The living room TV cable didn't work despite attempts by the owner to reset remotely. The unit was short on washcloths, paper towel, toilet paper and trash liners which we had to purchase once there but not a major issue. The biggest drawback was the water pressure which may have limited the dishwasher ability because some of the dishes had an odor after running which could have been due to low rinsing pressure. The disposal also made a lot of noise which could be one of the choppers coming loose. Very nice finishes and furniture made our stay comfortable and fun!

Nice Condo and very clean.

FABULOUS GETAWAY
Fantastic vacation in the sun! Condo was spotless and exactly as described. The grounds of Ocean Pointe were lovely.. I happened to point out to my hubby just how clean the grounds were including both the pool and beach areas! Owners were very responsive when I had questions. I hope we are able to go Gavin again next year.

Pretty decor
A nicely remodeled condo in a large complex. The unit was very clean and met our needs for our month long stay.beds were comfortable. We never could figure out the tv and really weren’t very interested in doing so. Most of the time, it was just my husband and myself. My daughter and her family came for a few days also. The complex is very nice with a great pool. We enjoyed the pool bar where we could get a virgin pina colada. The beach area was pretty but not really for swimming. A well maintained property and condo.

Great location in the keys
This was a great location to stay in the keys if you want both access to Key West, in addition to Miami. Key west is 2 hours and Miami is 1.5 hours. Alligator farm in Homestead everglades is about 50 minutes. We had a great time and recommend Coco Plum beach for a quite beach, and Sombrero beach which is a bit busier. The resort beach is also nice if you want to stay put, small but very clean and nice views of the Gulf. Sunrise from the pier here are also great. This is a 5 building resort with a pool. Only one or two buildings from high floors will be able to see the gulf. Overall we liked this location for the price and will visit again when we plan a trip to the keys. If you want to take a day fishing trip with a group/family look up Gulfstream Fishing in Key West - class group of folks and we had a great time.

Exactly As Described!
Home is beautiful, newly updated, and exactly as described. Neat, clean, and stocked with everything you need for your stay. The community is quiet and family oriented. My family enjoyed the pool and beach area. There is a tiki hut at the end of the dock near the marina and beach. Go there for beautiful sunrises. The home is very close to all restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed our stay and the owner is very responsive. A peaceful, quiet, beach vacation.

Wonderful property and location
The Condo accommodations could not have been better and updated. Everything is provided for you. Ocean Pointe is a gated complex with amenities of pool, beach area (marina) and also a nice area just to walk around in. The location of the property is excellent for access to meet your needs of restaurants, groceries, deep sea fishing, travel up and down the Keys, etc. Property Owners are wonderful to communicate with. Enjoyable stay.

Quiet, comfortable two week stay
The condo was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The property is located in a great spot to explore the Keys. Lots of good restaurants within reasonable driving distance. We made good use of the pool. The grounds were well kept. Not much of a beach but this seemed typical for the Keys. Very unlike what you would expect on the Gulf side of Florida. Overall, a very enjoyable two weeks.

Pleasant condo in a nice complex.
Enjoyed our 2 weeks in this unit. Clean and well maintained. Owner pleasant to work with and very responsive. Balcony extremely small and only one person can sit comfortably on it. Nice kitchen but basic dishes in limited quantities. No wine glasses, for example. Condos in this building lack water views. Pool and hot tub nice sized and pleasant but nice beach. All within walking distance.
