Our Frontline Top Floor Apartment is in a prime waterfront location in the unspoilt fishing village of Santa Luzia.

Our spacious non-overlooked private terrace with built in BBQ commands stunning uninterrupted views by day and amazing sunsets by night superbly positioned by the waters edge of the Ria Formosa in the unspoilt fishing village of Santa Luzia, 4km west of Tavira.

For your comfort there are Air-Conditioning units in the bedroom with 'King Size' bed and lounge for cooling in the summer and heating for the winter evenings.
There is also a panel heater in the kitchen.

We will meet & greet you at the apartment, show you how everything works and advise you on the best restaurants, places of interest etc.

There is a lovely fresh fruit & veg shop to the front of the small apartment block and is adjacent to all amenities including great fresh seafood restaurants, a speciality Tea shop, Rent-A-Bike Shop, grocery stores, pharmacy, bank and small shops.
Once you are here, you do not need a car as everything is a short stroll away. If you wish to explore further afield then a car is advisable.

The white sandy beaches are safe, gently sloping and can be reached by ferry boat, which you can see sitting from your terrace or take a short walk to catch the miniature railway to Barril beach near Pedras del Rei complex which has a swimming pool.
The beach Islands of the Ria Formosa are renowned for being peaceful, uncrowded, safe and unpolluted, there are beach restaurants and shower facilities. The renting of boats, windsurf boards etc are available.
You can also hire a water taxi to Santa Luzia beach which is particularly empty compared with Barril and has a nice beach snack bar.

The apartment is only 8 Km's from Junction 16 of the A22 motorway, near the lovely old town of Tavira; it is an ideal base to explore the eastern Algarve.
The fishing village is part of the Ria Formosa Natural Reserve Park, a large system of tidal lagoons. A perfect location for long walks to discover the marvellous world of fauna and flora that lives in this part of the Eastern Algarve coast, a bird watchers paradise.

Santa Luzia has beautiful terraces where you can enjoy a meal and a drink or two with the locals and watch the world go by, it's Bars and Restaurants serve excellent and reasonably priced food.

Not only has the Algarve the best golfing climate in Europe it also has some of the best courses and facilities.
To the West, Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo courses are within 30 mins of the Apartment and Vilamoura a further 15 mins further on.
Benamor, Quinta de Cima and the Quinta de Ria are within 10 minutes and Castro Marim a further 15 minutes.

The watershoot park near Loule is only 35 Minutes away and is great fun! Or swim with the dolphins at Zoomarine within 45 minutes.

Ideal location for walking, for restaurants and for exploring the area. Very picturesque village. Owners were welcoming and explained where everything was and how it worked. Gave us some recommendations for restaurants. Unit was well equipped. Binder there with all kinds of useful information about the area. Excellent.

Das Apartment war trotz zentraler Lage direkt am Wasser sehr ruhig. Bei schönem Wetter waren Zimmer und die große Terrasse ein Genuss; in dunklen Tagen mit Sturm und niedrigen Temperaturen kam die Klimaanlage an ihre Grenzen.

Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und Brian hat uns die Wohnung und alle technischen Geräte ausführlich erklärt. Außerdem hat er uns Tipps für Einkausmöglichkeiten und Restaurants gegeben. Die Lage der Wohnung war leicht zu finden und sehr zentral. Sie ist mit allem ausgestattet, was benötigt wird und wir haben die Woche Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Vielen Dank an Brian und Christina. Very friendly hosts, apartment and kitchen equipped with all you need, little supermarket and restaurants 50m away, no noise at night, beach on Tavira Island one hour walk. Definitely my first choice when I will return to Santa Luzia.

Well located in small town but plenty of restaurants and bars both on the sea front and in streets away from it. View from terrace excellent and facing west to allow enjoying the sunset. Roof top terrace gave full view up and down the river. Access to this is up external spiral staircase so need to be reasonably confident on stairs. Internal stairs to property not an issue for us as wide and well lit. As mentioned in owners description you can get a good breeze through the property. Recommended and we would not hesitate to come back if holidaying in the area.

O apartamento é óptimo, muito bem localizado, super limpo e o nosso anfitrião, Brian, muito prestável e atencioso, tudo o que é necessário para uns dias bem passados. Pequeno almoço no terraço com a ria como pano de fundo. Duas praias óptimas e de fácil acesso. Grandes passeios pela praia e almoço num dos seus restaurantes. Para o jantar a escolha era difícil, são vários os bons restaurantes. Final de noite numa esplanada junto à ria acompanhados de um cocktail. Dias de puro descanço.

Een mooi appartement, compleet ingericht met alle huishoudelijk apparaten. Het is geschikt voor 2 personen die wel goed ter been moeten zijn omdat je gebruik moet maken van de trap. Het uitzicht is super en ook heerlijk in de buurt van geweldig goeie restaurants. De eigenaar informeert je hier goed over. Erg leuk.
