Just meters from the private beach, the Resort offers a free boat shuttle service. The Resort has all the facilities you need for a quality holiday: 2 outdoor pools, a heated indoor pool, jacuzzi, spa, gym, playground, tennis court, volleyball, restaurants, bars, babysitting, garden. children and many animation activities for children and adults. We stayed 1 week in José’s appartement. It was clean and fonctional. We really enjoyed the Golden club, espacially for a family like us. There are two pools, a spa, games and an access by boat to the sea.

Condo was very clean. Jose, the host, responded quickly to our questions and answered our questions. Resort had great amenities, and we especially enjoyed the fabulous beach, and the boat ride to and from was au gratis. The Cabana de Tavira is only a 10 to 15 minutes walk to reach the malecon and enjoy the various restaurants. All in all, an excellent vacation site.

Nice size apartment within walking distance of restuarants. Fully equiped kitchen. Good size swimming pools, very clean site. Can be a little noisy in the evenings from the entertainment at the Rooftop bar but it stops at approx 23.00.

Everything went well, staff 5 stars. I recommend who wishes a nice vacation between pool and the beach. The only negative side is that some people goes to the pool and “reserves” the chairs in the morning so by the middle of the morning there’s no more chairs for people who really wants to enjoy the pool, and that is forbidden by the club.

Quiet Cabanas

My wife and enjoyed our stay in cabanas, the resort was bigger than we expected and definitely more family oriented, but still very enjoyable for us. The flat was very lovely, had what we needed and a nice covered patio. The local grocery store was a 5 min walk and well stocked. Day trips to Tavira were not expensive but you can’t walk from Cabanas to Tavira, it’s bus or taxi. The village of Cabanas was just the right pace for my wife and I, quiet and tranquil, lots of restaurants and the beaches were beautiful. We would return.

Ideal holiday position

Lack of security on the one balcony no shutters and as it is a ground floor apartment it was a concern. The lock on the front door was temperamental. An excellent shower and water supply, but a hand rail would have been ideal at the appropriate height for easier access for an older person. The position of the apartment was ideal for our use as it was near the golf course and a short walk into Cabanas which has some excellent restaurants and cafes.

Het appartement is prima en schoon, alleen wij vonden het matras van het tweepersoonsbed echt niet fijn, de binnenvering deed pijn aan ons lijf. Het appartement ligt op de begane grond waardoor je weinig privacy hebt op het balkon (er lopen veel mensen langs). Het resort is groot en prima. Maar het was vooral erg druk bij het zwembad, de bedjes waren vaak allemaal bezet. En op het resort verblijven bijna alleen maar Portugezen dus dat is goed om rekening mee te houden. Wij hadden iets meer nationaliteiten verwacht. Het strand vonden wij top! Een bootje van het resort brengt je naar de overkant. De zee heeft flinke golven dus dat is heerlijk zwemmen. Ook zijn er fijne ligbedjes (19 per dag, 15 voor halve dag tot/na 14.00 uur). Cabanas de Tavira vonden wij verrassend leuk, knus en gezellig! Lekkere restaurantjes en leuke houten boardwalk langs het water. Je loopt vanaf het resort zo het dorpje in. Met de auto ben je in ca 15 minuten in Tavira, dat is ook een prachtig stadje!

Die Ferienwohnung wie beschrieben groß, das Bett jedoch schlecht. Es standen nur 1 x Handtücher/Person zur Verfügung, kein Handtuch Wechsel nach 7 Tagen. Dafür ausreichend Geschirr. Bad hat leichten Renovierungsstau. Schöne gepflegte Anlage. Toller Strand.

O apartamento é exatamente como descrito. Equipado com tudo o que é necessário para as férias. A praia é ótima para as crianças e a piscina grande do hotel foi o que eles mais gostaram. O Sr. José é uma simpatia assim como todo o staff do clube. Gostamos muito de cabanas e do clube. Tivemos azar com os mosquitos apenas, mas é algo que ninguém pode controlar. Esperamos voltar noutras férias.
