Courteous, professional, warm, and incredibly knowledgeable about the surrounding area, her recommendations helped us discover some fantastic spots around Jakarta. She genuinely elevated our experience. Katika, also at the Club Lounge, was equally impressive — attentive, proactive, and always one step ahead. Both of them represent the hotel beautifully. The birthday surprises were unforgettable. The room service team (three wonderful ladies whose names we unfortunately didn’t catch) surprised me with a cake and sang — it truly made my day. Just when I thought that was it, Indah and Katika surprised me again during evening cocktails with a beautifully presented dish from the Chinese restaurant along with a thoughtful card. Absolutely first class. Housekeeping was excellent, the front desk team was welcoming and efficient, and the buffet was outstanding — especially appreciated the chef personally coming by to check on guests. That level of care says everything. We’ve stayed at several Mandarin Oriental properties around the world — they’re always excellent — but Jakarta truly went above and beyond.
