"DO NOT! I REPEAT Please do not book this hotel for many, many reasons. Please read other reviews to see room cleanliness issues. We didn't even get that far! They also failed to mention that their pool was closed for weeks and weeks. Though on Expedia they promote having a pool and on their website there was no mention of it being closed. Clearly false advertising in my opinion. I travel with 2 kids who love swimming so when we showed up for our room we had to book some place else with a pool that day. It was very disappointing. They are no refusing to refund our money citing they need 24 hours notice to cancel. Sorry but in my opinion your hotel under construction and the lack of pool would seem like enough grounds to cancel and refund my reservation. I've found that in my years of travelling La Quinta is always at the bottom of the hotel pile for quality and staff welcome and niceness. We found an immensely better deal 7 minutes down the road at Springhill Suites. Would highly recommend it and for the same price we had a pool, living room attachment and not the construction that La Quinta offers. Thoroughly disappointed with the level of customer service and quality offered from La Quinta."

"We really enjoyed our weekend trip it was perfect house for relaxing and also enjoying time together. My daughter loved the hot tub and my husband loved the fishing he caught one of his largest fish in LKN this past weekend. The owners were very responsive and the house was clean and super cute. I loved sitting at the back table and enjoying the views!"

" We enjoyed the house but all agree 3.5/5 While the view was a definite 5/5, sitting on the porch every morning and evening was a beauty of a scene the house itself wasn’t. We had dead cockroaches on arrival, during the stay and even a live one, along with spider webs. I think having renters come someone should have made sure the house was actually ready for human guest! The kids ended up sleeping on the couch and bean bag as they thought the bunks were hard and the king bed was super soft and the edge made you slip off …probably needs replacing.I think for the amount of people able to sleep the living room needs more furniture to accommodate with better comfort. The red chairs were not enjoyed. The water heater also wasn’t enough for the amount of people we had. It was not adequate and had to stagger and wait for heat."

"We had a few hiccups on the property nothing major, but Anna was so quick to respond with an answer, and also offered property manager to come out if we couldn’t resolve with her instructions which we never had to happen. It was a great stay and a great property."

"I wanted to surprise my family with a staycation for Thanksgiving and I could not have chosen a better home to spend the holidays away from home with the people I love the most. The host was pleasant, the home was excellent, and the amenities were the cherry on top for a lack of better words. If looking for a clean spacious home with a beautiful lake view and amazing amenities this is the perfect home. "
