"Excellent characterful hotel. Our large room was in the Stable Block, and was quiet, comfortable and well appointed. We would very much recommend and would certainly stay again when next visiting Shrewsbury. The only (very minor) niggles were that the shower head in our large en-suite was faulty, meaning it had to be held rather than stood under, and the breakfast choices were limited if you didn’t want to start the day with a big fry-up! Details of the superb leisure centre could usefully be available in the rooms to avoid a long walk back to get a coin for the locker etc - trivial and unnecessary! "

"Easy online check-in no problem getting our key on arrival. Our room was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. The staff are so polite and very helpful. Breakfast was amazing and reasonably priced.This is our second time staying at the Fallow Field and we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend."

"Only went for a night away and a good meal, Never been before, Room was very good and immaculate. Lovely gardens near the river for use in summer. Got to say one of the best meals we have had for ages. Mushrooms and bruschetta for starters, lasagne and fajita's for mains. Gentle hint share a starter, mains huge but both wonderful and drinks well priced. Party of 24 in for a birthday meal but didn't affect our service at all. No room for sweets!!! 2starters, 2 mains 3 Guinness 2 large rose wine and change from £100. We will be back soon "
