Very impressed with the two bedroom apartment and cleanliness of the place. Staff at the La Isla bar were very accommodating and friendly. I had read mixed reviews of this place but would recommend and visit again.

The apartments are in need of modernisation. They have started on updating to a very high standard. Despite this i didn't find the development next door to be a distraction. Once the restaurant is opened it will be a great place to stay.It is a quiet place and handy for the golf.

We are a family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 children between 4 and 9 years. We stayed for 2 weeks over Christmas and new year and found the location ideal for a lovely peaceful break. The Fairways Club provides great shelter from the breeze and the heat at the pool was really nice. The "isla" cafe at the pool cooked fresh food to order and we never looked elsewhere for lunch, and La Mesa restaurant had excellent food for evening meals. We do like to very our evening dinners and we sampled the many restaurants that were within 10/15 minutes walk - well within range for our 4 year old's little legs to walk! there were plenty of taxis which were available if needed. We spoke with plenty of people at the pool and many were regular visitors to the Fairways Club, they had tried other local places and had come back to the Fairways so that was nice to hear. The room was extremely quiet, occasional crickets and a mozzi or two but that's to be expected! We would recommend the Fairways Club very highly.

Nice apartments, good location.
Nice apartments with well equipped kitchen, English TV, good location close to golf courses and airport. The only downside is that there is no free WiFi in the apartment, you have to pay extra for this.Free parking on the streets outside.

Easy check in and pleasant receptionist, clean and spacious apartment with welcome pack of bottle of water and wine. Lovely grounds which are well kept and clean, pool was heated and of a good size with a bar in the middle, again with friendly staff and a good price for snacks. Quiet location, and no beach, but not too far to catch a bus to Los Christianos if you want a beach and a bit more lively area. Only downside was the bar over the road from our apartment, just the noise and howling late on a night from the singers and music they laid on, stopped eventually and if it bothered you a lot you could move apartments, other than that a great place to unwind and would certainly recomend to anyone.

Great choice for families. Apartment was well stocked but could have been a bit more modern. We saw others in the complex and our one was still awaiting upgrading. Pool was fantastic. Plenty choice for day time snacks and drinks. For evening meals we tended to eat out within 15 min walking distance. Kitchen had all amenities and there was a supermarket across the road. Friendly staff especially reception. Transfer to airport was organised through the hotel and all went well.

Part of the pool was closed when I was there. Wi Fi only worked in certain areas unless you paid. Would have preferred a double bed rather than singles. It was clean.

The bed was uncomfortable and the towels and room was not cleaned often enough the rooms are in need of a refurbish. The grounds and pool area was very nice the restaurant was excellent with great food. Very quiet part of Tenerife ok for Golf

We arrived late which was pre advised and we struggled to get in for nearly an hour. Not a good start. On check in later that morning we were told our booking was room only not what was agreed with Expedia which we were told All Inclusive. The rooms were lets say tired and quite old and outdated. They were however relatively spacious we had a two bedrooms and a kitchen/Diner and my daughter and her boyfriend had a one bedroom. The WiFi was poor and you had to pay for it unless you stood by the table tennis area. This didn't bother me but annoyed the kids. The biggest disappointment for me was the pool not heated they said they were waiting for a part but I think that was just a poor excuse. I guess you get what you pay for and it was on the cheaper side for 6 of us but if I had my time over there again I would save up and pay a little more to get a little more.

Short stay spending very little time at the resort, people helpful and plenty of things for families to do. The main attraction was the swimming pool which was well maintained and inviting, the clubhouse provide food and drink throughout the day and entertainment in the evenings.

Fabulous Holiday if you want to chill out and to be away from all the hustle and bustle. The lady at check in was brilliant who was so helpful and friendly. We will be back next year but for longer a week was just to short.

Lovely hotel!
Great hotel, lovely pool and really friendly staff. Rooms cleaned twice in the week which was fine. Pool towels available for rent for the week. Restaurant on site has good food and open late. Plenty of sun loungers. Overall great holiday.

Had a lovely stay at the fairways! We were given a one bed apartment although we'd only booked a studio! Very nice room with everything in it that you need! Would highly recommend!

Great to be used as a base
Ideal for a winter stay for the older folk, but not for the young or even middle aged, more like a plush retirement home. Aqua aerobics in the swimming pool & restaurants are very basic, both in food offerings and furnishing. The hotel and even more the resort seem like a poorly funded Eastenders episode. I used it as a Base for my travels around the island which was just fine for me.

A friendly well run apartment complex.
Overall a great place to stay whilst you're in Tenerife. A well run and friendly apartment complex with good facilities and close to a range of good bars and restaurants. The pool area is particularly good with plenty of room to spread out with an ample amount of well maintained sunbeds. The sunbeds are controlled by the ever present pool safety coordinator ensuring there wasn't the usual sunbed scrum at the beginning of the day, sunbeds not available until 9am. A great pool bar / restaurant with the longest happy 'hour' we have ever come across, very friendly staff and a good range of food and drinks. We occupied two apartments, a single bed studio and a two bed, neither had air conditioning but had ceiling fans in all rooms which where ok for the October heat but would be pretty useless in the summer. The decor in both apartments was no more than adequate, and the kitchen area in the 2 bed was very tired looking with broken cabinet doors and a breakfast bar that was in danger of falling of the attachments. It was obvious that these apartments hadn't had money spent on them in some time and are in need of a revamp and upgrade. Having said this the rooms were comfortable enough and the downsides where far outweighed by the upsides, good showers, plenty of room, well stocked kitchen and good cooking facilities, plenty of towels and linen, and plenty of hanging space for clothes. A nod to Oscar the daily entertainment guy, worked tirelessly to keep kids and adults entertained!

We came back this year after we had a wonderful holiday last summer at fairways and we were not disappointed. The rooms are spacious with good air conditioning. The pool is fantastic. Oscar, the children's Culbokie guy is absolutely fantastic. Our boys 5 and 9 love him.he involves adults too with his various pool activities. The reception staff are wonderfully polite and helpful. Tiny let down were one pretty unfriendly waitress at the island bar in the middle of the he pool and some cleaning staff in our room being rude in Spanish (they didn't realise I speak some Spanish) but didn't spoil the holiday at all.

Good hotel for price. Wifi is rubbish, nothing around the area. If looking to stay in the hotel this is great, if you're looking to go out and do stuff transport is required. Staff weren't helpful with helping us figure out buses but once you figure it out buses are fairly accessible with a 15/20min walk from the hotel

Really nice stay at The Fairways Club, the grounds are really beautiful with many different varieties of flowering plants and trees etc. A nice touch is each plant / tree named throughout the resort. Nice location but a little walk to restaurants and bars in Golf Del Sur. Large sized room and nice balcony

Fairways - great value for money
Fairways offers apartments for rent at very reasonable price The location was pretty close to the South Tenerife Airport - around 12 mins by car. Best to hire a car as otherwise i dont think this place would be accessible (maybe they offer pickups - not sure). Good restaurants in the club and reasonably priced. Drinks are well priced too with some offered at buy 1 get 1 free during happy hours. Extremely friendly staff. A small supermarket / Irish sports pub nearby Free parking around the club. Good swimming pool - outdoor so not suitable to bath all year round but was not too bad end of march. Get tickets to most of the sightseeing places at reception - very useful and helps avoid queues. There is a ATM outside and a taxi rank (note that cabs are expensive here and its much cheaper to hire cars - fuel is cheap!) Full english breakfast for around 5! Perfect way to start the day. Small negatives - No free wifi in room and even locker usage in room is not free! There is a free wifi area but the connection was bad and speed almost nil. No roomservice but then this is not a hotel but to be noted. No takeaway in the restaurants in the evening / night - so have to come and sit in to eat. Hot water only for the first one to have bath!! Others need to wait for it to heat up again. Overall it is 4 star rating and very good value for money.

Nice accommodation for once off trip
Stayed in apartment 206 which i believe was an upgrade as just 2 of us travelling but given 2 bed/2 bathroom apartment, full amenities, including dish washer, etc, provided, lovely apartment, plenty of towels supplied, tv will plenty of english channels, large pool area and oscar the chap that did the entertainment was very amenable. Various activites included during the day i.e bingo/pool/aqua aerobics, bowls and the like. Free wifi at the table tennis area. Not one cockroach nor ant did i spot the entire time here, spotless and well kept. The only downside was checked in at 8pm and checkout time is 10am, ridiculously early, you had to pay 40 euro xtra for a late checkout and that was only till 3pm, whereby the cleaner was waiting at the door to get in bang on 3pm, bit annoying when flight home not till 8pm. All in all nice accomodation, probably wont stay again as golf del sur area very quiet, and you need a car to get around as the fairways quite secluded.

Nice Apartment but not so Good Location.
Golf De Surs is a terrible location if you want to travel the city & enjoy outings in shopping centres. I would recommend you stay in Los Cristianos or Los Americas which are the two shopping centres that are about 15-20km out. However, if you are merely looking for a family hotel to enjoy the facilities such as the swimming pool, then staying in Golf De Surs would suit you. If you are travelling in Christmas make sure you don't rely on the bus service on the 24/25th December as it is shambolic not only for visitors but to local residents too. The hotel itself was mostly pleasing with a balcony with our room, satellite tv with 'bein sports' a major bonus given I enjoy watching footy although didn't watch much given I was on holiday but still. The bed itself was ok to me but my other half was complaining of back pain. Check out times are fairly early at 10am, although you are given a free 1hr slot to use a guest room after checking out. I would strongly recommend you go quad biking if that is something you enjoy as it is a thoroughly enjoyable outing with the challenges of driving on the main roads as well as challenging off road tracks. Tenerife in Christmas is the best place to be for the sun, 100% tan and flip flop weather. Wifi in hotel is poor & extremely slow. Recommend finding a McDonalds and using their free wifi service.

Stayed for two weeks in November 2015 Pros- Good pool,Well kept gardens,plenty of parking, Good security,good facilities in apt sat tv fridge/freezer, kettle,microwave, full cooker. Quite at night. We do not play golf but if you do you are on the course Cons- Apartment cleaned beds towels replaced only three times in fortnight. No sun in apartments at rear (apt 112)at any time of the day Apt and furniture dated. On-site Restaurant prices reasonable but food pretty poor. Location well back from the seafront Paid 842 euro for 14 days (accommodation only) If you are staying here a car is advisable

Lovely quiet resort, built round golf course, suitable for young families, and older too. Restaurants within walking distance, but need a car if you want to see the sights. Staff are lovely especially Oscar who does the animation. We would return again, very relaxing.

La struttura è molto bella,mi è molto piaciuta la piscina al centro del cortile interno. L'appartamento disponeva di tutto il necessario per preparare da mangiare, svariati elettrodomestici utili al caso. Abbastanza silenzioso nonostante le rotte aeree in fase di decollo e atterragio passino nei paraggi. In definitiva ci ritornerei e lo consiglio.
