"I really enjoyed staying in the Carbonara neighborhood away from the old city/port/downtown tourist crush (although they were easy to reach by bus or even a longish walk). Just settling into the piazza, streets, cafes, and local shops, and folks who live there was perfect for me. It was like being in a small town but still part of the city.
