"Amazing Views & Great Service! We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Isla Mujeres. The views are absolutely stunning — crystal-clear water, soft white sand, and beautiful reefs right next to the property. Snorkeling was perfect and so convenient since everything is right by the hotel. A special thank-you to JC, Jerry, and Angel for their outstanding service! They truly made our stay even better with their kindness and attention. Overall, a beautiful place to relax, enjoy nature, and feel taken care of. Highly recommend! "

"This is our second year staying here in November. The room is clean with a mini fridge and a safe. A few minor things that could improve are: the beds are super hard; provide larger safes (they are very small); have luggage racks, and offer pool towels. Something to keep in mind that is not the hotel's fault is that the marina restaurant attached to the hotel was very wishy-washy about when they are open for dinner. They tell you they are open until 8pm, but the first night we went down at 7:22, we were told serving drinks only (ok, I can under that), so we walked to Hildago. The second night went down at 7:02, and we were told again that the kitchen was closed, serving drinks only, and we would have to go to the sports bar for wings/pizza/nachos. I love the restaurant's ceviche, so when asked what time we needed to arrive to eat. Then they said we could eat. Once we sat down, we had great service, ate, and were gone by 7:35. Nothing that will prevent me from returning, just good things to keep in mind."

"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Rocamar. Great location near Centro with its shopping and restaurants. A short walk to Playa Centro and Playa Norte. Our room had a sea view with a good size balcony. Enjoyed listening to the waves crashing every evening. Check in and out were efficient and friendly. Room is basic but clean. AC worked well, beds were comfortable and the water pressure was good. Only complaint was that the bathroom curtain needed to be washed. "

"The staff was so kind, helpful and welcoming, but in fairness to other travelers I'm sharing my unfavorable opinion of the stay. The room was clean but very spare, just one very bright overhead light with the switch by the door necessitating my phone light to see my way back to the bed. There were no windows except onto the interior public hallway also brightly lit, and no public space to sit or get fresh air. The room is claustrophobic, all white with a single white sheet for comfort at night. Needing air I sat on the doorstoop at night, directly into someone's spilled beer. The bed is hard, so if you have fibromyalgia like me it's a nightmare: I hurt all over today and barely slept. The safe was broken also. The room was inexpensive but not worth it: I regret not just leaving before it got too late. I feel badly leaving this review because the young couple running the place was so wonderful and I'm reluctant to hurt anyone's small business, but if I'd had this info ahead of time I would have chosen a different hotel. It might be fine for young travelers needing a very basic crash pad though! Owners: please place a bedside light and provide a blanket, and perhaps a chair or bench outside of the entry to prevent midnight beer-sitting on the stoop! "

The location is excellent too, just a short walk from the beach, restaurants, and the main attractions. It’s a great spot for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a chill atmosphere.
