"This Amish run inn is also a conference center. We stayed there due to its closeness to SMH. What a delight. The staff is friendly and very customer focused. The rooms are large and well appointed. The hallways are wide and even have benches and a few chairs through out. Everything was in excellent condition. The adjacent restaurant, Der Dutchman, serves excellent meals and is also Amish run. We will return whenever we need to stay in Sarasota."

"Roof top sitting area was awesome, beach was gorgeous. Only bad thing was the raint weather. We still swam.in ocean and pool and hot tub in the rain. At least they kept the pool and hot tub open during the rain. Alot of places at least in other states close the pool as soon as it rains. Room was very clean and perfect for our stay."

"We always enjoy our stay at Compass Sound. Friendly professional staff on arrival. Always clean throughout. Breakfast is good. Plenty of choice. Evening food menu reasonable and tasty. Full bar. Staff are always accommodating and smile. Great pool area We’ll be back."

"The resort was very nice,we had a villa and it was wonderful, the beach was beautiful, the only downside was some of the restaurants where overpriced, for example...a kids cheeseburger and fries $20 that's a bit much . Overall it was a nice vacation."
