"We had a great 3 night stay in Borgo Marino Plemmirio! Nice rooms with airconditioning and decent kitchen. The swimming pool is very nice with see views and even the Etna in the background!
Very close to this somewhat isolated location is a fantastic little beach (Spiaggia Massolivieri). It is the nicest beach we have been to in Italy!
Also the old town of Syracusa is a must-go-to."
"We chose to stay at this hotel because it was just outside of town and had a pool. The ground of the hotel are beautiful, and the pool was perfect in the extreme heat. My only issue was the location. It is a 15 minute drive to the center of Siracusa, and if you don't have a car, you are forced to pay 30 euros each way. There is no public transportation, and it is very difficult to get to any of the nearby beaches on foot."
"Perla del Sole is a small, friendly B&B, though with a hotel-style reception, in the resort of Arenella, 8km from Syracuse. The hotel manager (who spoke excellent English) greeted us warmly and provided plenty of helpful information, such as maps, local restaurants, transport information, etc. The rooms were comfortable with all the essentials, including air conditioning (definitely needed at night, as it stays hot after sundown in Sicily) and free wi-fi, and were well cleaned daily. "We enjoyed our staying at B&B Le Saline. Stefano is a wonderful and attentive host who uses his artistic talent to make your staying confortabile and appetizing. With his breakfast, one begins the day with Sicilian flavors and creativity!
The location is great because is just about 10 min by car from Ortigia, and is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. "
"The hotel is beautiful, clean and wonderfully designed to embrace the historic roots combined with gorgeous art. Breakfast is great, views are perfect and location is fantastic. Highly recommend!"
"It was a very nice location. Property had anti-noise windows so it was quiet inside despite is in a main area.
Room is big enough to feel confortable, nice bathroom. Balcony.
