"I didn’t take advantage of the breakfast. Staff seemed nice, property definitely lost its shine. 4-5 years ago I use to stay there a lot and it was cleaner and rooms were in much better shape. Now they are roach infested and lots of visible deterioration on the walls, trim, caulking. "

"Where to start. I almost always book a Marriot property but I errantly planned a work trip to College Station during graduation week at A&M which bumped local hotel prices well above usual rates in the area. So I gave Expedia and their rating system a shot. Horrible mistake. Do not believe the 8.0/10.0 ratings. Fake news. This is a 2.0/10.0 at best. This is the single worst hotel I have ever attempted to stay in. I say attempted because I left after one hour. The door to the room which is direct access outside literally had a 1/2-inch gap between the door and and door jamb offering perfect opportunity for every mosquito and bug in the area to join me in the room. I ended up taking a pillow case and shoving it in the gap. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to actually fill the gap so I had to add a wash cloth. Once my defenses against the bugs were fortified I tried doing some work at the little table in the room. As luck would have it there was a motorcycle shop reving engines and peeling out from the building across the parking lot, paired with what I am assuming was a domestic dispute in the room next to me which prevented any progress. After staring at the cigarette burns in the bedding, rusted hinges on the doors and dirt/mold in every nook and cranny there, I decided I would rather pay for a second room elsewhere than make any attempt to stay here. While friendly enough the front desk said any type of refund was out of their hands. Expedia, can you give me a refund? "

"Very dated, “pillows” were paper thin, coffee was cheap, creamer was powder. Furniture is very old, had rips, and stains. Would have given 2 stars if not for the staff. She was very helpful and kind. When we got there our A/C was broken. Very hot in the room. Sold out too. Luckily there was a last minute cancellation, otherwise we would have be screwed."

"I had to walk to the lobby for everything I needed, including an iron and ironing board. I have never heard of a room not even having an iron. There was no one available to deliver anything to us, including fresh towels. Couldn't believe you don't have the option of getting your room cleaned any sooner than every other day. Room did not smell good because they would not even come empty the trash."

"After 5 years of consistent stays here, we won’t be back. We arrived needing a quick shower, change, and leave for an event, but the hotel had no water. It had been cut off to the entire hotel. When we returned to our room last night, the water would only dribble from the shower heads with very little water pressure. Same again this morning. How’s the breakfast? It used to be incredible. Gone now are the fresh waffles, non-powdered eggs, etc. Replaced by a few plastic cups of pre-packaged cereal, something resembling eggs, bread you could toast, and a few bananas and apples. The bed was comfortable and that’s about all I had to say good about the hotel. It’s a shame because it used to be a really nice affordable place."
