"The beds were very spacious and we had plenty of space for group just under 20 people with our college ministry retreat. Much more parking than other rentals in the area which is great for large groups. There were a few things broken/not working like the toilet and sink drain but we made it work. You’ll want to make sure to pack hand soaps and towels to wash your body with as only big towels were supplied."

"The house was much bigger than it looked in the pictures, and the location was great—close to The Strand, Stewart Beach, and plenty of restaurants. A few things to know before booking: the home has 3½ bathrooms, not as many as the listing says. The driveway/space between houses is tight for larger vehicles, and the busy street can be noisy with traffic, honking, and revving engines. We also happened to be there during cicadidae season, which added to the noise. So if you sensitive to noises please keep that in mind. The pool was disappointing because the bottom wasn’t vacuumed and was very grainy, so the adults didn’t get in. Thats that the pool guy came to cleane filters but failed to vacuum. The cleaning was happening while our stay was happening so we had to wait for him to be finished before enjoying the pool. The listing also shows three arcade games, but there was only one so thats another discrepancy on the posting. This was one of the main reasons I booked it since my family loves arcades The kitchen has basic pots, pans, and utensils, but you’ll want to bring your own coffee, seasonings, and other cooking essentials. They didnt have a kcup machine but they did have a regular coffee machine and basic pots and pans and utensils. Only one towel and washcloth were provided per bed,there is a washer and dryer available to wash them if you need to while staying. Overall, beautiful, spacious home. These are just minor details that i hope help others."

"A very unique experience that our family enjoyed. The Silverfoot is quite big. We had plenty of room for two adults and 4 kids. Wandering around the rail yard after hours is really fun. Location is very good. Easy to walk to the Strand and the sea wall. Getting in and out of the property can be a bit tedious as you have to call the caretaker to unlock the gates but he’s very responsive. The guest fees go to help support the rail museum which we liked. Overall we would recommend and would stay again."
