"The location is fantastic 10 minutes from the airport and literally 50 meters from the beach. The staff were exceptional and could not have been any friendlier or helpful. The breakfast was second to none with a wide selection of fresh hot Thai food, a huge cold buffet and a fantastic set menu. Our room and pool were cleaned daily with fresh towels and bottled water also left daily. The room service was extremely good with fresh hot food delivered within 20 minutes of ordering."

"The rooms were well kept but had the charm of wooden flooring and furniture. Staff had the very Thai hospitality we all expect from a kind and helpful crew. "We absolutely loved our stay at Merlin - in fact we are still here as we extended our stay with the hotel because we decided we didn’t need to go anywhere else for a truly magical and relaxing stay. We feel immersed in nature - surrounded by incredibly beautiful trees and we saw a slow loris during our night tour! The pools are so lush with vegetation all around them - we spent hours just milling around in what felt like a jungle pool, complete with waterfalls! The staff are all so lovely and super attentive, but with the most relaxed and easy going manner. I found myself quite envious of the people who work here - they honestly seem to be very happy in their work and well looked after. We didn’t go all inclusive and slightly regret that, as it wasn’t a lot more on top and means that, even if you only eat here half the time, it will probably be worth it. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back! Thank you so much everyone at Merlin - we will see you again as soon as possible! 😊"
