Staff and the room excellent in every respect.

The staff were extremely welcoming and could not have been more helpful. Thames is an excellent base for touring the Coromandel peninsular.The accommodation was excellent in every respect the only slight downside was that it is directly opposite a busy vehicle distribution centre so the view was not great.

I loved the convenience of having the separate bedroom and the bed was fantastic, It was a little hot in the unit until we got the AC up to speed. Very nice accessories around the unit and in the bathroom.

We were greeted warmly and told about the local restaurants that we could try. Room was nice and clean and spacious enough for 3 woman. We used the pool and had a hot soak in our spa bath after doing the Pinnacles walk. Highly recommend this place 😊

Good honest motel in convenient location

This is a conveniently placed motel. A bit noisy from road traffic and the smoking areas outside were annoying. Right outside my door. The rooms are comfortable but the decor is old fashioned and the room smelled a little. Presumably because the windows aren’t shut to keep our cigarette smoke. Service of the rooms was OK but not awesome

Great place

It's a motel! Expectations should be in line with this. That said, the room was very spacious, it's very clean and the little touches are incredibly well thought out. Everything is very will organised in line with the vastly experienced proprietor who knows exactly what she wants to deliver and delivers it spot on.

Nice hotel but bad wifi

The hotel was clean and spacious. The only issue was the wifi. The reception desk made a big deal about how we only get 1000MB of data but that was ridiculous. I couldn't get a decent enough signal to even open my mail. And I was right be the office, so I imagine no one gets wifi. Cute town.
