"Terrible, do not recommend, unclean rooms and staff was not helpful at all, called 4 times to get towels and bed sheets before it finally arrived, very outdated facility that feels as if it has not been maintained, "
"Had a bit of trouble figuring out the virtual check-in process (I should've done it in advance) but once I got through that, everything was good. I do wish there were more options to leave luggage in a locked cubby after after checkout, since you lose access to the building after your checkout time, but the staff member that was there on Sunday was there until 4 pm and let me in. (This is mostly an issue for Sunday checkout since the restaurant is open late other days)"
"The personnel were sensational from front desk to valet. They made the stay exceptional. The room was exceptionally roomy. The location was perfect. "
SpringHill Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh Bakery Square
10/10 Excellent
"The location of this hotel is great. Parking is easy, but it's 16$ per day. Rooms are comfortable, AC is noisy, but besides that it's very quite. Breakfast is plenty, and very standard hotel breakfast. All in all we had a very nice stay"
Two-Story Row House amidst Pittsburgh's East Liberty
10/10 Excellent
"Great place for getting around Pittsburgh! Our family was visiting our daughter at Pitt over a holiday break. Having a large eat-in kitchen made it easy to make meals and have a family game night. Convenient street parking and enough room for everyone to have their own space was also a plus. Super easy check in and check out. Will definitely stay here again!"
"Property is exactly as described. It has a well stocked kitchen. Lots of storage if you need that. It is easy walking distance from a grocery store and less than 3 miles from the Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium. The unit is clean and well maintained. The host was very responsive and friendly. "
Cozy 3-bedroom house • Quiet street • Free parking
4/10 Poor
"This was an interesting property. There is no path to the entry that does not create a fall risk. To get to the deteriorating concrete stairs that lead to the front door, you must step up over uneven concrete or a tree root system. The surroundings are very trashy. Garbage, concrete chunks, and roofing lay in or next to the path at the top of the stairs. Inside is a nice set up. It definitely needs some deep cleaning. Baseboards and walls are very dirty, the window blind in the room with a single bed is missing a square area, so it is easily seen into at night, this room also has a door that leads to the outside. It does lock. But our teen was not comfortable in there, so I (the parent) slept there while she slept in the master. The upstairs bathroom did not have a trash can, so we carried garbage down with us daily. There was also a very dirty rubber bath mat draped over the shower towel bar for use if one chose. Nice to have if needed but should have been washed. Many light bulbs burned out and the smoke detector beeped for several hours the last night we were there. The area is super close to the famous Oakmont bakery and cute little shops, a candle making company and great local restaurants. We are healthy and agile and had no small kids with us. So the undesirable entry was doable. It was fine for the few days we were there but we will not book again. "
