"A lovely boutique hotel with unique furnishings. Very welcoming and helpful staff Room was lovely- a great size, very hot so could do with some air conditioning in the warmer months. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection. Would definitely recommend and hope to return again soon "

I could tell you about their excellent dinner menu & equally excellent breakfast. Instead I'll tell you about the staff. Every one of them from check-in to restaurant staff were friendly, knowledgeable & professional. A credit to the hotel."

"Very comfortable stay. Room was clean and well equipped with great en-suite bathroom. Cooked breakfast was tasty and good breakfast selections. Enjoyed lunch in restaurant before going home. Great selections on menu and well cooked. Great roast dinner options on Sunday too. "

"Just a lovely spot, 5 minutes driving from town and the shore in Newcastle, 15 or so to some great hiking trails. Grounds are very nice and there’s a gentle climb down to the river, a beautiful spot on the patio to sit out for a drink or morning coffee — and the breakfast was excellent as well (I had to go for the Ulster Fry (similar to the Full English) both mornings. Wish we could have stayed longer, but hope to go back. Seems to be a holiday spot for the Irish and those from the UK, not overrun by our fellow Americans. "
