The Falconry Centre

The Scot is one of the best if not the best accommodation for passer by’s through the picturesque town of Oban. Located in the very middle of everything, with restaurants, shops, and the Instagrammable little port not more than a couple of minutes walking distance away. Rooms are very well maintained and appointed. The bathrooms are a little small but modern and very clean. We would definitely stay here again on another visit to Oban

Incredible full service resort with tons of activities in a lovely setting in the Highlands!

For me this was a prefect location to get around the island and particularly so if you're a malt whisky fan. Reception and restaurant/ bar staff can't do enough to help and will point you in the right direction as regards transport requirements. It's my 2nd time on Islay and I will return again, I'm sure. The restaurant prices on Islay are fairly pricey but a lot has to be imported into the island so it's to be expected.
