Had a great stay here! We had booked the family room and were put in a huge courtyard room with 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom and double sink. Perfect for travelling with a family of 4. We used Delft as our base to explore the Netherlands and loved it. 10 minutes walk to the train station and the town is really pretty with lots of choice for restaurants and shopping.

This hotel is really well situated in Delft, in the centre and close to the train station. The room was spacious and well equipped with a coffee machine and toiletries. The view was pleasant over other buildings to the famous church tower. There were some steep steps as it is within an older building. I enjoyed my stay here and would return if I came back to Delft.

Vermeer Expert Loves the Vermeer Hotel!
So,I've seen all the Vermeer paintings in the world. I returned to Delft to revisit the Vermeer Center. The Johannes Vermeer Hotel was first rate, the art work on the walls and in the rooms was a nice touch. You can walk anywhere you need to go in Delft. If you're planning a one night stay in Delft, I would advise you to make it at least two nights and stay at this hotel.

My family and I really enjoyed spending the time on this hotel. The hotel was a little bit dated, but it's beautiful and the people were really really friendly and accommodating. We would stay again there with no doubts.

There was an oversight from the staff on how much I have to pay but after showing my printed confirmation from Expedia they adjusted the total bill.. the staff tries hard to help.. there was no hair dryer and still gets warm at night & no air conditioning. They have an espresso machine - the cappuccinos are awesome

Lovely hotel in the heart of Delft. Ask for a main floor room if you don’t want to do the Dutch staircases. Breakfast is good. Staff are nice and friendly. Older building so walls and floors are thin but still pretty quite in the room. Would stay again.

Beautiful old building, nicely decorated, but without elevator... for us was excellent, for a person with difficulty to walk would not. Lovely surroundings and close to the plaza and train station. Bathroom was well supplied with lotions, shampoo, conditioner. Room was spacious

Charming hotel in an ideal location in delft. The rooms were quiet and well maintained with good AC. We stayed in two different rooms and just loved the family suite in the back courtyard. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

I arrived late due to flight delays and availability of suitable trains to Delft the reception staff waited for me to arrive even though it was nearly midnight Friendly staff decent buffet breakfast and good coffee great location

Lovely hotel, great location, beautiful city.
Great hotel, highly recommended! You just need to be prepared for the set(s) of stairs since there is no elevator. It's a great location, lots of things to see and do in Delft. I had a room that was facing the canal and get to watch the ducks and birds everyday...what a beautiful city! Fruit and flower stalls were literally just around the corner and there's a grocery store too. If you're into Indonesian food, look up Toka Idola...it's just a few around the corner. I would love to come back another day.

Magnificent.
Beautiful small hotel but know that there is NOT an elevator and the rooms are up multiple flights of stairs. Small narrow stairs. A very nice breakfast is included and there is a bar in the hotel. I love this town, I was sad that I only got to stay one night. Very low key and beautiful canals and city center. I would definitely stay here and visit this town again. The room has an air conditioner and hot shower. The fold out bed, if needed, would have been uncomfortable but our bed was fine.

We stayed here for 2 days over Kings Night and Day, to see Delft and also to visit the Keukenhof. Very nicely located in the centre of town, with lovely character and pleasant helpful staff. As an older building it has character but still manages up to date facilities. Our room was very nice, and had views over the surrounding area. There are a number of comfortable seating areas both inside and out to relax and enjoy a drink. Breakfast was very nice with a good fresh choice, and on the day we left early a packed breakfast was prepared for us. Car parking was fairly easy in a local multi storey about 200m away. I would recommend this hotel and would certainly use it again, in fact we intend to return to Delft so will very likely stay here once more.

Great Location
The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the train station, and just a few minutes away from the town center. It sits along a canal and has a pleasant outdoor seating area on the canal where you can get a drink or eat. The staff are very friendly. A breakfast buffet is included, and features eggs, bacon, sausage, cereals, fresh breads, and pastries. The rooms are clean but compact.

Wery nice hotel. Good breakfast, short walk to the old city, Originally we decided to stay in Delft and take trips to the surrounding by car. Short drive to Haag, Sceveningen and Rotterdam. Rooms had names according to Vermeer's paintings. Breakfast was good, big picture of the Girl with a pearl earring painted to the wall of the breakfast room. Staff very friendly.

A very friendly hotel in the center of Delft
Excellent location and staff, decent quality of the Internet connection, the breakfast selection isn't very rich but the food quality is great, a very nice stay overall. The lack of elevator wasn't a problem for us but may be an inconvenience in some cases. Took us some time to find the hotel as the "Hotel Johannes Vermeer" can be found only on the entrance door in a 2 cm font, smile. And Delft is absolutely charming, though have to mention that we were lucky with the weather.

Right in the centre of town very convenient spot.
I found the the hotel to be comfortable. It's not a flashy hotel but it doesn't need to be the staff are very good and helpful. The only negative if you could call it that is there isn't a lift and the stairs are a bit steep. All in all i had a pleasant stay at this hotel and would stay here again in the future.

Nice breakfast - Good localisation
We had a family room. 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds. All was nice in the hotel but the stairs were really steep. Even if we stayed just one night as we had been travelling for 2 weeks, we had 4 bags so the steps were quite a challenge. The room was clean with working air-conditioning and a very decent wifi. Real coffee at the breakfast !

Delightfully close walking to main attractions in Delft. Refreshing to have an A/C after missing the feature in what turned out to be a warm Norway. Breakfast a let down after Norway but still much better than your typical motel "breakfast included". Only drawback was lack of coffee pot for refills, only one cup of espresso. Good use of older building although walls a bit thin and toilet hung on wall creaked with usuage, a bit unsettling. Otherwise a good hotel.

Clean, well-located hotel
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Vermeer! The hotel was clean and breakfast was good, and it was located within the city centre, walking distance from the Oude and Nieuwe Kerks and City Hall with no lack of shops and restaurants. There were also many ducks in the canal in front of the hotel, even in winter, which was a real treat!
