We really enjoyed our three nights here. Didn't have a car, but the hotel is 5-10 minutes from the (from memory) 24 bus service (Den Haag city centre) and 26, end of both lines (so you can't miss the right stop). Walk from bus stop possibly not appropriate for people with limited mobility?
Hotel is right on the beach - we had a "non sea view" room, but could see the sea from the end of the balcony. It is the North Sea though, not the Caribbean, so can be blowy! Lots of sand dunes to walk in.
Proximity to the elements means the hotel looks a little tired from the outside. It's a few years old, and a bit dated inside, but in a good way, if that makes sense! Lots of space in corridors and bedrooms, lots of polished wood, thick carpets. Hope they don't completely refurbish the hotel and spoil it! Very small lifts with painful music if I was going to nitpick.
So much space and soundproofing that the hotel felt empty . . . but at breakfast time you could see it was busy!
Very small gym, but a decent swimming pool with sauna and steam room.
Lovely friendly staff at Reception and breakfast. Buffet breakfast excellent. We didn't have any other meals there, or use the bar, but it looked popular.
Lot of building work in the area (March 2023), but didn't trouble us. Upmarket restaurant and wine bars next door (again, we didn't try them), and a really nice ice cream parlour that also did wonderful weather-appropriate pea and ham soup.
Loved the hotel. Don't change anything!
