"Cable Mountain Lodge is THE place to stay if you wish to avoid using your car to visit Zion National Park. I'll agree it's not the cheapest place to stay in town, but it's by FAR, the most convenient. You can walk to the visitor center and if you wish, you can easily ride the shuttle to anywhere in town for dining. Pool is nice, and the convenience to the market and brew pub is great."

"The lodge is currently being renovated so the manager is off site in the evening. Jo the manager is very helpful, answering questions, telling you about the attractions in the area, and how to use the city shuttle. The bathroom needs a safety bar by the tub and the heater/ac filter needs to be clean more often as there was dust in the air which bothered my allergies. The Subway downstairs has great coffee and a really, really nice staff. 30 minutes from Davis supermarket and 40 from a Walmart. The owner was on site almost every day- very friendly and helpful. "The staff at the front desk were wonderful, very helpful, on multiple occasions. Conveniently located on the free shuttle bus line going to Zion. Plenty of good restaurants in walking distance. The breakfast is a to go bag with youghurt, a piece of fruit, a blueberry muffin, and a bagel and cream cheese."
