"Despite the hiccups with the major road construction directly around the hotel, the noise was not noticeable at all. The hotel was also under renovations so things were a little out of sorts in the hotel main areas/halls---but the rooms themselves were exactly in order. Clean, comfy, shower was nice and hot, in room coffee, breakfast bar, soft soft pillows. Honestly, for the price it was, I was pleasantly surprised. Even despite the construction, the staff did a great job in the rooms and we would definitely stay again if we come through that area!"

"Traveling for leisure, requested a handicapped room as I walk with a cane. At no time did the person checking me in ask me to confirm what room type I had requested, I got a standard 2 dbl bed room with a tub. I requested a walk in shower. I thought it was odd that the front desk manager rather than walk around the desk to address a computer issue was sitting on the desk to fix the matter, but it was apparently easier. Once I called down to the desk I was upgraded to a king bedded room with the walk in shower requested. While there were no handicapped rooms available I did ask for a shower chair which they brought to the room. After that check in challenge I stopped asking for help/amenities and did not bother with breakfast because I was not feeling welcome. I have 10 years hospitality experience working in hotels and just felt the basics were missing."
