"Best location. Plac Zamkowy across from the Royal Castle, views of the castle, the Vistula, and the Old Town. Many many restaurants and cafes within 5 min walk. The most beautiful part of Warsaw. Charming home like atmosphere. This is not a hotel. These are the guest rooms of the House of Literature on the 3d floor (4th if you are from US). On other floors are offices of literary organizations and rooms for poetry readings for example. In the corridor connecting the rooms you have tables and chairs where you can make yourself tea or coffee and discuss literature with fellow guests or with visitors. Or discuss whatever you want. Plenty of books around you. Incredibly friendly staff creates the home like atmosphere. I personally also loved the quirky features. The most famous: in the elevator a sign claiming it is the slowest elevator within 50000 km. Likely an exaggerated claim. Hard to check, but it is slow. I hope to stay here every time I return to Warsaw. But do not stay here if you need access to a swimming pool, or a spa. Or if you especially enjoy the atmosphere of generic luxury hotels. I doubt they have AC, so may not be beat in the middle of a 21st century heat wave"

"Beautiful apartment right in the market square, perfect location in Warsaw, so close to everything and just wonderful looking out over the square at night. Laura was very helpful and friendly, kept us updated before we got there and made sure we found it ok and was waiting for us when we arrived. The apartment was very clean and spacious. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to Warsaw and would definitely recommend anyone looking for a great place to stay."

"Located in the heart of Old Town Warsaw, the EGO Apartment was convenient to attractions and restaurants. The directions to the apartment published by the owner were okay but not great. The apartment is a 5-story walkup with a view of the church behind the building; don't rent it if you have luggage heavier than 10 kilos. The bed is comfortable. The kitchen has a small refrigerator. We received a welcome bottle of bubbly which was nice. The dinky shower has a drain cover; water doesn't drain properly."
