"Fantastic Value for the money paid. If you are expecting the Marriott standards at this price point, you will be disappointed due to your own foolishness. Location is convenient. The views are lovely. Rooms are well equipped for this price point. Clean and functional. We were in room 317......which had been smoked in before.....frustrating scent. Also located on the lower floor (basement).......where the hallway smells terrible thanks to the cheap glade plugin air fresheners located all the way down the hall. If we return in the future, we will only stay if located in a non basement floor room. Pool was fantastic......clean and warm....was the highlight for our young children 6 and 8 Morning coffee and snack bar was ok.....it meets your needs and once again makes sense for this price point. The lovely woman with the large stylish glasses was exceptional....at 8pm I requested assistance to get a hairdryer because ours didn't work......she was working alone, and still managed to source a brand new one and hand deliver it with a smile to our room......2 thumbs up.....her efforts were very much noticed and appreciated! Other staff are not that personable. Polite, but nobody asked about our stay, or seemed interested in having any form of communication outside of basic check in and check out dialog.....seemed cold and un-inviting. The property and building are dated.......but this is to be expected at this price point......not a complaint, but just be aware."

"We appreciated all the water facilities. It was convenient to have a full breakfast provided daily. We also really appreciated the daily housekeeping that was simply provided. Close to Bruce Trail hiking. Although there were several restaurants nearby, we ended up going to the pub style restaurant on site. A great stay! But I would like to suggest that the curtains be replaced so that true blackout is possible. The ones in the rooms were not wide enough."
