"Cleaness: room seems like recently renovated, very clean. 5 stars Parking: hotel was easy to find and parking readily availabe on site. 5 stars Shops nearby: very convenient location with lots of good restaurants nearby. 5 stars Staff: this was the only part that dropped the rating. Checking process was smooth, but had some issue with check out. The front desk issued me an invoice for in room movie watching service. I explained to him I did not even turn on the TV in the room during the one night stay, but he didn't care what I need to tell him, just keep repeating the invoice shows I used the service so he has to bill me. He didn't care to double check the room service record, and insisted I need to pay for the service which I did not use at all. Until I questioned him what time the moovie service was used. He said 4:15 pm for 49 minutes. I told him I checked in at the hotel at 6:15pm, how could I watch a moovie at 4:15pm. Then he started to stutter, but still wouldn't respect the fact that I did not use the service. I was in a rush to leave for a meeting, he just said he needs to confirm with the manager whether I need to pay or not! Frustrating and unpleasant experience."

"The Old Mill is a wonderful and quaint inn. We stay there because of the location but it's not in the center of town, but Bloor West is within walking distance."

"Neighbours kept us up very late up till 3:00 AM. Room had a musky smell. Bed was uncomfortable and blanket was thin. Bathroom wasn’t very nice either. Front desk lady was kind."

"Was supposed to stay for 4 nights. Changed my mind co’z the room was dirty and checked out after just one night. I just wasted my money because I didn’t get a refund. This motel was in a very good spot and I don’t know why they don’t wanna spend renovating their rooms and keeping it clean for their guest."
