Thank you Hotel Vergina! We stayed at the hotel 3 separate times this year and it's always very good. It's been over 15 years we visit this hotel and they are always very good.

We go to Hotel Vergina every year and they are always very cordial and friendly. Hotel is always clean and very well maintained.

Every year that we are in Thessaloniki, we stay at the Vergina. The property is clean, the staff is very nice and there are never any bad surprises.

A great breakfast. There were tour groups every day but the staff did a great job of keeping up. The location was really convenient for the train station. We were on the eighth floor so it was quiet. We walked to all of the sites we wanted to see, but some are a long jaunt; it's a big city. Seems like a good value.

The room was ok, air conditioning rather outdated. Hotel's parking is very small and cramted and it costs 10 euros per day.

Not bad, but overestimated for the price
We were for 1 night only and this was our luck. The breakfast is very nice and this is the only good thing of this hotel. We travel a lot all over the Europe, we sleep in B&Bs and hostels also, so there are not so many things that can bother us, but this hotel is absolutely overestimated, about the price and everything. Just the breakfast is good. This is my first time ever, ever, ever I see a cockroach in a place that I sleep, this was in the sink in the bath!!! The area is absolutely bad, like a China town, dirty, scary... I don't recommend the hotel at all, maybe if it is on a lower price some things wouldn't bother but better to be without breakfast for a lower price than just paying for breakfast because I can't see for what else is this price? The rooms are small and are not as are in the photos, because there they seem large... I am absolutely unsatisfied about the combination price-quality.

Useful hotel located near the train (and some bus) station in Thessaloniki. About a ten minute walk from the center. A pleasant hotel, perhaps showing its age a bit but generally in good condition. It has one major problem, specifically that its eight floors of rooms, each with 15 or more rooms. are served by only two elevators, each about the size of a phone booth. I like the hotel and will stay there again, but one must allow extra time for checking out or leaving from an upper floor, because the elevators may be busy.

Older Hotel but close to center
We choose this hotel because it allowed pets. It was in a part of the city that seems run down but that is because of the metro construction. The room was clean and quiet and within walking distance of the waterfront. The staff was very pleasant and there was a parking garage.

The hotel is in a very busy and run down part of town. The staff were efficient and very helpful however the room was distinctly tired with broken shower fixtures and some other issues.

Convenient hotel near the train station
I arrived ca. 8:30 pm, was greeted by a friendly receptionist, checked in briskly, and went up to my room. Breakfast next morning was fine, once I figured out how the coffee machine worked! The room was clean, the air conditioning worked, as did the small refrigerator, and the internet connection. The bathroom was medium sized for Greek hotels, but with a separate closed shower stall in the corner. I checked in in the evening, spent 12 hours of the next day out of the hotel, returned in the evening, and left early the next morning. No major problems.

Friendly helpful staff. Very good free breakfast, huge selection. Very good WiFi and A/C. Lots of subway construction across the street, not noisy but sidewalks are made smaller or blocked off.

Great Stay! Just needed a shower curtain + sheets
Great service at the desk! My only real complaint, and it's very minimal, is that there wasn't a shower curtain or enough sheets for the bed. The breakfast was great! Eggs, bread, sausage, coffee etc. Great! Great location!

A nice hotel to stay in for a couple of nights if you're visiting Thessaloniki. The sea is just a ten minute walk from the hotel.
