"Arrived early feeling very unwell. My husband asked if was possible to check in early. It was available and the member of staff was most attentive and helpful. Spotless room and very comfortable. Food was most appealing and nothing seemed too much trouble. I felt better, husband and dogs very happy too"

"The B&B was a really comfortable and pleasant experience. The best reception by the hosts. I was made to almost feel part of the family and would book again when I’m in the area. Only point that needs to be looked at is, on Hotels.com all rooms are on-suite but my room had a bathroom down the stairs, albeit a very nice bathroom. I booked on suite and expected on Suite. Apart from that it’s 10/10 from me. I would stay again. "

"Easy check in. Lovely big room. Very clean with a huge bed a compact but adequate bathroom. Loved the in room continental breakfast. In all, a very comfortable nights stay and would definitely stay again."

"After returning to the area after 16 years, we chose this hotel for the personal touch over other chain options. The hotel's staff was amazing and accomodating. They provided great service and every meal was delicious. The Thomas Paine Museum was of special interest and full of information for this history buff. We cant wait to book our next trip."
