My family and I stayed here(July 28th-29th) for 1 night to attend a funeral. After a long 12 hr. travel, we finally checked into the hotel at 1 am(on 29th) extremely exhausted, and just wanted to sleep. I got a call from my brother in the other room quite upset (screaming for us to get off the bed) that he had found a bed bug on his bed sheet (because staying here was my choice). So now the whole family is awake, and out of the beds,still tired from the long ride and uncomfortable about sleeping in the beds (as you can imagine) because of this. Since we were checking out at noon, I decided to take a pic, put it in a napkin and I take it to the front desk to show them at check out. The front desk was very apologetic about it, but said they could not give me a refund due to booking with a third party (Expedia), and that I should call the GM to request a refund. I called the GM on Monday and left a message about the incident, but he never returned my call. I called Friday and he actually answered the phone. I told him about the incident again, he never once apologized!! ...only to tell me that if I had booked thru the hotel directly he could have given a refund in ten minutes, but now I had to contact Expedia to do so. I am very disappointed, I will never stay at this Hotel again!
