"My wife and I were looking forward to a romantic night away, we'd booked the room months in advance and we had driven over a hundred miles of our 150 mile journey to get there when the hotel rang us to say that they'd given our room to someone else!!! However they were willing to pay for a B&B for us... Needless to say we turned around and made the trip back home again. This is a terrible way to treat customers, and I would definitely not risk making another booking at this hotel."

"Absolutely beautiful hotel. I stayed at this hotel when it was the East End hotel as a child but it's totally different now. They rebuilt the whole thing including a swimming pool below.
The staff were amazing, spotless spacious rooms, great location, amazing breakfast freshly cooked to order, wish we could have stayed longer. I have family around Schull so we will be back. "

"We had such a great time staying at this amazing historical site. Stephanie was very communicative and helpful with instructions and recommendations. This castle really immerses you in the history of the location. I picked this location for the amazing views and the unique experience. If you want history and beauty this is your place. If you want 5 star hotel with fancy accommodations this is not your place. But it definitely got 5 stars from me."
