Three Eyes National Park

My first stay was a great experience, starting with the private and secure parking area under the building, being welcomed by friendly staff, and being taken to my room by a friendly bellhop. The room had everything I needed, including a very comfortable mattress. A 10-minute walk took me to an ocean-front restaurant for dinner. Breakfast at the hotel was simple but good. I will defintely be back here.

Disappointing birthday stay — poor communication and no meaningful resolution I stayed at Coral Costa Caribe for my birthday trip, and unfortunately, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. I had communicated with the resort months in advance regarding my room request and followed up multiple times, yet upon arrival the room arrangement was still not what had been discussed. Instead of a smooth check-in, I had to spend part of my vacation repeatedly explaining an issue I had already communicated in advance. The problems continued throughout my stay. There were multiple power outages, including an extremely frightening incident where the elevator lost power while I was inside. I also experienced inconsistent communication from staff and had to repeatedly follow up regarding my concerns rather than feeling that management was proactively addressing them. I ultimately requested compensation equivalent to one night because of the overall experience. On September 16, Guest Service delivered a written letter to my room stating that they were handling my case and would meet the following day to provide a “satisfactory resolution.” When I followed up on September 17 before checking out, I was told they could not provide compensation. Instead, I was told we could remain in contact by email if I wanted to return in the future. I declined because, after this experience, returning is not something I am interested in.
