"My husband and 2 daughters stayed for 7 nights at the Gastof Eiserne Hand while visiting the area to ski and watch the Free Ride World Tour event. They had the most amazing hospitality from Markus and Micel and stated "it was the best place we have ever stayed". The beds were comfortable, the location beautiful, the breakfast delicous and the after dinner schnaps very much enjoyed. "Lovely, clean hotel. Very close to public transit and ski resorts. Had a gym, spa and laundry available."

"The property is almost 50 years old and wasn't renovated since then. Some doors don't keep closed, other doors squeak with every move and everything looks in general disrepair. We stayed in the family apartment that is actually above the owner's and we listened to snoring every night. The shower hose was damaged when we arrived and it burst open towards the end of our visit, making everything in the bathroom wet and the shower unusable.
