"The room was clean, but hot. The air was on, but did not cool the room enough to sleep comfortably. The canyon was gorgeous, of course. The location is great except be aware check in is at the Angle lodge. The good restaurants want a reservation."

"A little dusty in the room. But overall good size for 4 adults, comfy, perfect location, easy short walk from Bright Angel trail, great service, food hall and pizza pub easy food options at very reasonable prices. Would stay there again."

"It was exactly what we expected. Nice old lodge, just steps to get to the edge of the canyon to see the sunrise! Centrally located too, if you wanted to hop on a shuttle! We watched World Cup games in a cute, adjoining tavern. It is July and there was a heat wave, and we knew there was no a/c. The windows open, and a table top fan was provided but we were definitely hot overnight, so if you need cool to sleep, this may not be the place for you. Still, we were very happy and would def stay there again."

"It is old, but the location was breathtaking. Rooms were very small but clean. The morning coffee on the mezzanine was put out late for people starting the day early. The restaurant and the restaurant staff were incredible."

"Parking is limited, so unless you’re lucky, it can be difficult to find a parking space close to the lodge. There is no microwave in the room. It would have been more convenient if there had been a microwave available in the lodge’s lounge or another common area. The view from in front of the lodge was stunning, both during the day and at night under the stars."

"It was nice while it lasted, we only got to stay one night and the Park Service evacuated from Grand Canyon. The whole place burnt down the following day!"
