The rickety chairs in diningroom have still not been replaced or repaired. Our room was very small, but still functional and as we were on a mega cheap rate that was quite acceptable.

Cold - but Value for Money
Last minute booking due to cancelled ferries on a cold and windy night. Room was very cold as heating was off and old sash windows rattling in the wind. It did warm up once the radiator was on, but was still cold. Staff very pleasant and helpful when we asked for blankets. Breakfast was fine and plentiful. Parking outside is time restricted which meant we had to move our car a couple of times. Apart from the temperature, the stay was fine and value for money.

Room small but nicely decorated. However no mirror in room, and plastic sheets on bed?? Very uncomfortable! I’ve stayed here a few times before and it’s always been fine but I won’t be back

Nice stay again, good hotel, lovely helpful staff, spacious room but the radiator didn’t work (they did offer to move me to be fair) which meant it was a bit ‘fresh’ (I left the bathroom door open and that warmed the whole lot until the cleaner shut it one day :-/ ) at times, also it was a first floor room facing the road and single glazed sash windows aren’t great for noise. Don’t be put off though the pluses always outweigh the minuses, I’ll definitely be staying again.

Large rooms that were somewhat dated . No shampoo or conditioner and floorboards in the room creaked badly. Reception and restaurant staff friendly however bar staff no so. Bed was comfortable but lots of noise from street late at night.
