"Wonderful hotel in UNBEATABLE location and service. All the reviews regarding the old European luxury feel are very true. Hotel is part of a huge mall building (Q Square) and also part of the Taipei Main Station underground. There are countless shops, convenient stores, and restaurants within 2-5 minutes walking distance. Service: EXCELLENT Upon arrival, the concierge and reception teams provided extra courteous and attentive service. We found the restaurant service to be outstanding as well later. Special shout out to front desk manager Chris and restaurant manager Ellen. Amenities: OK Hotel has a very simple gym located on 17th floor. There is also a lounge for guests on the top few executive floors. There is no swimming pool or spa. Rooms: Needs improvement. The BEST thing is the soundproofing. I see traffic on the street by the hotel but I don't hear it. My sister is extremely sensitive to noises, so we really liked this. We disliked the layout of the rooms with the vanity in the room and no separately enclosed bathroom. Plus the toilet room glass door is frosted but not the shower, doesn't make sense. There is also a soaking tub by the entrance. You can pull a curtain around the entire bathtub, shower and toilet area but it's awkward and takes up so much space when it can be improved by simply frosting the shower glass door enclosure. Also, it's difficult and confusing to control the lighting and the AI is not helpful, although it is cool"

"Stayed there three nights and very happy with the experience. It is a historical site and the main lobby is gorgeous. The front desk staff is very helpful, especially “黄楚媛” she helped selected a room with greet city view and the 101 tower. Highly recommended "

"Air conditioning is perfect. The room is tidy and the location is so central cannot beat the 6minute walk to the MRT. Used the laundry machines as well and everything was straightforward. I was worried about mold in the bathrooms but very clean and not bad considering the humid climate. Would recommend others to stay here as it’s very affordable. If you’re travelling with larger groups the rooms might be tight."

"The location is spot on: close to the Ximen Station exit 6 and the tourist attractions in Ximending. Breakfast was delicious and abundant. I would stay there again on my next trip to Taipei. "

"We chose Ambience Hotel Taipei for its location, price, and strong reviews, and it did not disappoint. Service was excellent from the start; staff were warm and welcoming, and check-in was quick and smooth. Our corner room had lots of natural light, was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. We especially appreciated the bathroom with a bathtub and washlet, plus high-quality amenities (though adding lotion would make it perfect). The location was very convenient, walking distance to a train station and a park, with plenty of convenience stores nearby. The biggest highlight for us was the breakfast buffet: delicious, well-balanced, and surprisingly healthy. We looked forward to it every morning. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend for first-time visitors to Taipei."
