"Great stay with Francesco, Nino (his father) and Concetta (who made breakfast and cleaned the rooms)! The property is in a beautiful setting and Francesco takes pride in keeping the grounds beautiful. Nice plantings, a beautiful lawn, and well maintained. Everyone was very helpful and willing to give tips and suggestions for visiting the area. Breakfast was nice and served on the covered terrace with fantastic views.
The only negatives were the short dirt road that you had to travel to get to...

"Family run - the owners are young and very sweet. They communicate in English too so for us it was much easier.The place was very welcoming (thank you for the sweets on the pillows) It felt like home! Super clean and abundant breakfast. On Thursdays there is a local market just round the corner too. Few meters away is a pizzeria - buonissima 😊The area is very safe with Children playing outdoors in the evenings. "Our host was very friendly and helpful, giving us tips on the local region and keeping the attractive outside area clean. The patio and pool area looks across a mountain view, changing in the light from dawn to dusk. The apartment provided everything we needed including indoor and outdoor cooking facilities. Castelbuono is well served for bars, restaurants and points of interest. It sits in the Madonie nature reserve so is good for walking and wildlife ."
