"Very cute well maintained place, centrally located to the TGV train station, little far to walk to the center. Manager was very welcoming and nice. Walls are a little thin but a little knock at the wall fixed the noise from next door. "

"En plus d'un accueil chaleureux de notre hôte, nous avons été salué par Riley, le chien de la propriétaire. Un détail important pour nous. La chambre était accueillante et comfortable. Merci pour ce séjour ."

"Nice room, very friendly staff. Call ahead because the reception is sometimes closed. We had some difficulty getting ahold of them to actually enter the hotel."

"Les Galapons was so much more than we expected. In the middle of the countryside. If you want complete silence, a reset on life in the city, this is the place to go. Sandrine and Sebastian are the perfect hosts. Food was extremely tasty, local wine was some of the best we have had and the room was delightfully decorated and spotless. "

"The room itself was tiny, nicely furnished and extreme warm. No aircon / fan/ heater there. Bathroom was clean.
If u don't need a kitchen or fridge it's not recommendable for the price.
It was offered online with a whirpool wich wasn't available. No compensation for that. The water option was the main reason why we booked the place.
There was one other guest who snored through the whole house.
No idea how noisy it is with all rooms occupied.
For us it was a pricy hothouse

"Nice little hotel but they didn’t provide basic stuff. No hair conditioner, no body lotion. Second day they gave us shampoo… other than that it was okay. The room was really tiny. Hard to have space for our luggage. "

"The owners are friendly and helpful. Bus stop is close by to get into Lyon. The room is small but has everything you need for a business or an extended stay. Washing machine, fridge and stove top. There are some dining options nearby but if you want to experience French cuisine then go to downtown Lyon. Overall, a great place!"

"Armand (owner) was very helpful, even though I was only there for a very short time. He allowed me a flexible check in and was very friendly. He brought breakfast to my room in the morning. I didn't really explore the area but I know Lyon fairly well. It was a 20 minute walk to Part-Dieu Station but of course you could get a direct bus or tram easily. A taxi cost me £13 from Part Dieu to the property. It is exactly as described."

"Check-in was smooth, and the location is excellent. The hotel is conveniently situated near the metro line to the city center and a tram stop that connects directly to the train station, making it easy to reach the airport.
Unfortunately, the main issue was cleanliness. There were urine stains on the toilet and visible hair in the shower, clearly left by the previous guest. As a solo female traveler staying for just one night, I didn’t feel comfortable raising the concern at the time.
This property has great potential. I hope the management team will provide better guidance and training to the housekeeping staff to ensure higher standards of cleanliness."
"Great location, at the edge of the old city so it’s quiet but right in the heart of the good stuff. Staff was really friendly and helpful, really down to earth. The breakfast was very good in a comfortable room. "
"This is the perfect place to stay to see Lyon from up above. We enjoyed the short walk to the Basilica and Roman theatre. We also took the funicular down to the old town for crepes and ended up staying for dinner. We wouldn’t have know about this without the team at the hotel.
The breakfast was lovely, but a bit squashed in. But this is the case in a historical building. "
