We had the most fantastic night - we are a family of 4 and we stayed in a jungle family room complete with a wonderful bathroom and kids bunk bed with slide. Beds were perfect, room was spotless. We had a swim in the wellness centre which was such a treat after a busy few days at amusement parks. We can’t wait to go back!

This is the second Van der Valk hotel we have stayed in. We chose this hotel because it is within walking distance of the Decibel Festival. The hotel is great, and the breakfast is worth the money. We had an evening meal, which was good value for money. We also used the swimming pool, which was nice. The hotel is not far from the central station, and I would advise using the bus service followed by a short walk through the park. I would recommend this hotel to others

Nice hotel bad restaurant

Nice hotel, nej and clean. A tip souls en to have more than one yoga mat In the gym. Restaurant does not live up to the rest of the hotel and also not to van der Valk in general. And the service in the hotel is chocking poor. In the evening 5 waiters passed me while waiting for a table. NONE of them said hello or otherwise greeted me. It was similar in the morning the only word I was presented was; room number without eye contact. That in combination with a low quality of food, does that I can’t give my recommendations

Room: a bit odd to have the WC in a separate place from the bathroom, and no sink to wash your hands after going toilet. Very strange. The bathroom door is also not very private. Furthermore, for a 4* hotel it lacks basic small things like a small bottle of water in the room for guests. Breakfast: €43+ for breakfast, and we still had to eat cold fried eggs and cold omelettes. Totally cold, not even luke warm.

Mooi & nieuw hotel, daarom was ik zo verbaasd dat het zo slecht was. Het bed waar ik op sliep was ingezakt waardoor de nodige rugpijn nog steeds aanwezig is. Badkamer had schimmel in de kit. Ontbijt was goed!

Pillows were super uncomfortable. Requested different pillows and was told a staff member will bring it over. Waited until 3am and nobody showed up. Did not sleep all night. It’s a beautiful hotel but the most important things in a hotel are the bed and pillows. If you cannot get a good night’s rest then all that fancy stuff is worthless. Really disappointed by this hotel, and will avoid it in the future.
