"Older building, but the view and beach access were great! I only wish the pool and hot tub stayed open a bit later, maybe until 10 instead of 9, so guests checking in late could still enjoy them a little. The beds were also on the softer side for our preference."
"The Inn was clean and welcoming. Parking is easy and it's in a great location. Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly. The bed was not to our comfort level (but we have a sleep number so...) Overall a great experience and we will be staying again in the future."
"I was actually surprised. I felt like I was walking into the 70s in the room. There’s no vending machines no soda machines no nothing for the price I was expecting more."
"The staff were very friendly and helpful. I'm afraid I didn't get the name of the gentleman we talked to most - he was from Scotland. When our room key didn't work the 2nd day, he came up with us to check, and took them both to recharge them.
We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel - I poked my head in one of the mornings we were there and they did have a nice spread including a couple of waffle irons. We decided to try the 2 lovely places walking distance from the hotel. The first night we went out for dinner and brought leftovers back to our room. I was able to get utensils and plates at the breakfast area so we could have the leftovers in our room. The rooms have microwaves, but I believe the kitchen did also.
Location of the Hotel Garibaldi was very easy to get to also, and convenient for our plans to visit several beaches up and down that area of coast."
"Not great value for the price. The hotel had clearly been recently redone in some areas, so parts of it looked very nice aesthetically, but a lot of things didn’t feel very functional. The marble shower, updated sinks, and small kitchenette in the room were beautiful, and the bed was comfortable with a nice TV setup.
The biggest issue was the toilet constantly clogging and barely flushing, which was honestly pretty gross. Thankfully we only stayed one night. The staff was super kind, and the lobby looked nicely renovated, but beyond that the property still felt quite dated. The hallways were dingy, there was no pool, and the surrounding area felt a bit sketchy with not much around.
There was also some kind of orange liquid/stain on the lampshade, which made the room not feel as clean as it should have been. Overall it was a fine stay for one night, but definitely not worth the price we paid, and there are some maintenance and cleanliness issues that I think need to be addressed!"
