Nice Hotel - Inflexible Management
Vacation stay. My wife was born in Timisoara & this was her first time back in the country after 40 years. Hotel was nice; we enjoyed our stay. Restaurant service was great! We spent a lot of money on food and wine. We did encounter a problem when we booked our hotel. We booked an extra day in error. When we realized this we contacted Hotels.com and rebooked the correct dates but hotel refused to refund that extra day. We talked to the manager when we got on-site and he refused to work with us. He was indifferent & no customer service skills. Because of that we will not stay there again. They are all about taking your money. Indeed this was a non-refundable rate but it was not like we were a no show for the first date and they held the room and were unable to rent it. The lack of flexibility by hotel management was disappointing.

We do value our guests opinion about their stay.First of all, I am happy that you found our hotel and restaurant as a good location.Second, regarding the issue with your booking, as I was explaining to you this morning personally, we didn't agreed with cancelling 1 night due to the fact this booking was made with a non-refundable rate. It wasn't about money it was about being fair to other guests who book a flexible rate for what they are paying more.The lack of flexibility wasn't because I didn't want to help you or because I was indifferent, but because of the rate. Please try to see this in a different manner - when you book a plane ticket with a non-refundable rate, does the flight company cancel it for free? We, hoteliers and flight companies (as many others) work in pretty much same industry so we all work with flexible and non-refundable rate plans.I respect your opinion about me, personally, as I respect your 6/10 score. However, I do not agree neither with your opinion about me nor the ranking. We are, indeed, a top hotel because we do our job properly, we try to help our guests with their needs and do everything to treat all our guests the same, because every guest is important to us. There is no "more important" guest. I believe that if you try to see what I was telling you in the morning and now, here, in this reply, you may be able to understand my position. The fact that I didn't agree with a night refund in your case doesn't make indifferent, but professional. Why? Just because I have acted in your situation as I did in other situation like yours.I hope you will visit us again :) The hotel is nice, the restaurant is great as you said, so I see no reason not to visit us again just because I didn't agreed with your request.I wish you a great end of the week and all the best!With respect,

Timisoara adventure
Hotel is very clean, the room is spacious with a good size bathroom. Location is very good, about 15 minutes walk to the old town. Breakfast was excellent, with a nice selection of hot & cold foods. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was the mattress - it was hard like a Futon & I couldn't sleep well for the 2 nights I was there.

Perfect choice near the city centre
Great and very nice hotel. It looks completely new. Rooms are spacious, clean and modern. On site is free parking for the guests. Hotel is close to the city centre, nice, less than 10 minutes walk. It is also very well connected with public transport - tram line is just in front of the hotel. Rooms are well sound isolated so traffic was not heard from the street. There is an excellent restaurant in the hotel, a bit pricey but food is great. Breakfast was served due to COVID-19, but there are many available selections and everything is really tasty. Staff is also very nice and speaks perfect English. Internet is fast and reliable. I highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel in Timisoara
I spent the week here while on business in Timisoara. The rooms appear newly decorated, the bathroom is as good as I've seen in any hotel. The staff we're very friendly and efficient. The hotel is approximately 15 minutes walk from the city centre, the route is very simple to follow as the road outside the hotel leads straight to the town center. The tram passes right in front of the hotel, I didn't find it too noisy, the trams stop running at night. The restaurant is excellent, the quality of the food is very high, I ate here three nights of my stay and I was very happy with my choices. The breakfast was as good as I've had anywhere. I will definitely stay here again.

The Del Corso is the best hotel I have ever stayed at in Romania. The rooms are spotless comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast offered great choices from European breakfasts and even bacon and eggs. The service in the hotel was excellent. The location is a safe short walk to the centre of Timisoara and the taxi service the hotel uses are professional and trustworthy. I would always stay and recommend the Del Corso when in Timisoara. I wish I had stayed longer.

Hotel molto bello ed pulito, con comodo parcheggio privato e gratuito . A circa 10 minuti a piedi dal centro. Abbiamo anche provato il ristorante argentino della struttura, molto buono,ma visto il prezzo elevato il servizio dovrebbe essere più attento e cordiale. Anche il servizio della colazione andrebbe fatto con un sorriso in più. Ottima,invece, l'accoglienza della reception. Nell'insieme, comunque, una struttura in cui tornare e / o da consigliare.

Dear Jose,Thank you for your feedback, this is important to us.You have booked the cheapest room, and you were able to see any details regarding surface, amenities and so on.Regarding breakfast, the cost is 15 EUR per person and we serve quality food with enough choices. Also, our Argentinian Steakhouse is not expensive, but the most expensive in town, just because we sell the best steak in western part of Romania with American beef only. Therefore, it is just normal to sell expensive if we buy expensive :)Next time, I would recommend you to book a higher room - Deluxe Double for example - you will pay more, but you will have more space, if Standard Double (20sqm) wasn't enough.Have a nice day!

All as it best! Modern with love for detail. The Argentinian restaurant was in all terms best, same as breakfast, I am traveling on Platin level but these was one of the best. Also very nice staff at Check in / out
