"We rented 2 villas from the same owner/manager. This one was bigger than the other and in a better plaza. The overall property was a bit tired looking but can see the owner was renovating one so assuming this one will be too. The negatives… not enough kitchen utensils for self catering, no chairs outside for the table so had to use dining chairs. That’s literally all we could pick fault at. "Me and my partner really enjoyed our stay here. It has a very peaceful vibe with a quiet pool area and is only a 5 minute walk to the sea front which has many bars and restaurants to choose from. It’s also free to park outside if you rent a car. The apartment is a bit dated but that didn’t really bother us, will definitely book again."

"Couldnt fault this lovely flat, it has everything you'd require.very comfy bed , clean and airy.and very good terrace..Fantastic view with binoculars provided used them a lot watcjing activities in and out harbour The only "wee"problem for us ii is on a hill and a goid number of steps down to pool which is a lovely area with great snack bar, but considering we're both relatively fit in out 80'swe managed it was worth it!!!walked down to town and taxi back not expensive 5. ..."

"All the staff were very helpful, especially Isabella for our dinners, always remembering our drinks! Very close to a beautiful beach. The bar staff are very talented making perfect drinks. "I enjoyed a 5 night break at Sands. A little apprehensive due to several negative reviews however my experience was very positive. The rooms are a good size and have everything you need including full fridge freezer and dishwasher. The entire complex is very clean and is thoughtfully laid out. I enjoyed the lane swimming and the surrounding area is perfect for running. I also used the gym several times. Shops and restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk. A shout out to all the staff, you are amazing.

"I have been staying at the Hotel LIVVO Volcán, Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, several times a year for over 20 years, as indeed have many of the hotel’s returning clients.
The hotel itself is beautiful and the cuisine at breakfast and dinner is outstanding with a vast array of options to suit every palate and all dietary requirements.
The staff are delightful - warm, welcoming, caring and most helpful - nothing is too much trouble. Many have been there for years, a testament to the hotel’s culture and environment.
It’s my ‘happy place’ and where I always say ‘my soul is at peace’ - indeed, I feel blessed to consider it my second home.
I have just returned from a wonderful relaxing holiday and I’ll be going back again in November. What more can I say? - I absolutely love it!
A huge thank you to all the staff for another memorable stay. See you again soon!
