"The Snug is in a good location to visit the Forest of Dean area and Wales. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and live on site. They have thoughtfully provided everything you need for a short break. It is well presented and although overlooking a main road is quiet and has parking at the rear. "

"Property was not well looked after. Blinds were missing from Windows, surfaces had not been cleaned, the kitchen was missing many essential items such as forks, broken glass outside the back door, last guests dirty laundry left in the dinning room, the list goes on. Really put a downer on the first day of the holiday. I don't expect to have to provide essentials like forks and kitchen knives and clean on arrival. Manager of property was initially understanding but is now ignoring my emails."

"Great house for a long weekend attending a family wedding. 4 decent sized double rooms, 2 bathrooms and a separate downstairs loo. House was spotlessly clean when we arrived, beds all made up and plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner etc in the bathrooms.Sainsbury’s local and Lildl close by, best chippy ever in the Atlantic fish bar 3 min drive away.Thanks very much ."

"We enjoyed staying in this house - it was perfect for the two of us and our dogs. Marzena, the host, was very helpful and responded quickly to our queries. "We were visiting Bristol and Bath for the weekend and this place was the perfect base for us to do so. Comms were good and access to the property was straightforward. The house had everything we needed for a cosy and comfortable stay and everything we used was in good working order (oven/hob, wifi, tv, shower). Good value for money so we would gladly return if we're back in the area. "

"House was well appointed and close to railway station, and very roomy. Negatives....only one bathroom which is not on bedroom floor (difficult to access in middle of night!), Too many stairs for us older folks. No instructions for TV. Not enough towels or wastebaskets. Steep walk up and down hill to access house. Could use some homey touches like teabags, condiments. Pretty spare. But, all in all, a great deal for the money."

"The best stay we've had in quite a while! It was clean, quick and efficient. Definitely a quirky space to fit in with bristols culture. The "breakout space" is large and open 24/7 with plenty of places to sit as a group or off quietly with a book. The cocktail on entrance was definitely welcome after all my train delays. All you need for a reasonable priced hotel

"We stayed for two nights to look round Bristol city center and to see a show at the Hippodrome theater the locations suited us well and easy walking distance to the Hippodrome. The room was clean and quiet with a very roomy bathroom with fitted shower, large bed that was very comfortable,there was also air conditioning very welcome as we visited during a heatwave, there was also a safe located in the wardrobe. we did not eat at the hotel, it was conveniently next to Cabot Circus. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was included in the price saving us £20 per day stay. We will use this Hotel again when we return to watch another show. "
