Brilliant stay at this hotel. Our room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfy. We had tea & coffee making facilities and a smeg fridge in our room. Shower was excellent with lovely warm underfloor heating. Breakfast was a huge choice. The hotel was very central and quiet. We stayed for new year and had dinner on the very top floor which had panoramic views of the spectacular firework display. The staff at this hotel are brilliant, so friendly warm and welcoming, very willing to above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. We were treated like royalty during our stay.

Beautiful property with a typical Faroese feel

Loved my stay here! Although I traveled solo, there is sufficient room for a large family/group. The view of the fjord is extraordinary, and I found myself sitting and watching the beautiful wildlife for hours. The adjustable LED lighting in the kitchen/living room area is a very nice touch, and there are separate indirect heating thermostats to control different parts of the home. The houseboat is situated in a perfect location for driving out of Esturoy and visiting places like Gjógv, Slættaratindur, or many other places of interset for visitors. While nice and secluded, the nearest grocery or Rusan's is only ~16-20 minutes away.
