Very large hotel. Staff friendly, but friendliness of front desk people seemed forced rather than genuine. The hotel seemed very well-staffed (there are plenty of staff around). Beautiful, but small, swimming pool. Even smaller workout room. My room was spacious and very comfortable. A/C worked well and room was quiet and well equipped. A 5-min walk to the Dammtor station, from which one can easily reach the Hauptbahnhof. Short walk to lovely park along the water, too.

"Dirty, unmaintained old hotel. When I ran the shower, sewage came up from the plug hole. The owner obviously knew there was a plumbing issue and had put us in the room anyway."
