"Nice property but checking in was a chore and the picnic tables were cluttered with garbage, no employees on site to monitor or clean up the property. Ocean view was more like a view of a big tree that blocked most of the ocean (which wasn’t really the ocean). "

"If you are looking for a unique adventure on the water, this is for you. We were 3 sisters visiting Tofino for a couple of days. Communication with the host was great. Accommodation is as pictured, a very large, comfy, one room floating houseboat - one of a collection of houseboats off Strawberry Island. We enjoyed sitting on the dock for sunset cocktails. There is also a viewing portal cut out of the living floor to watch the fish and other aquatic life below.You are very close to shore with a good vantage point to watch boating activity, and wildlife. Hosts are experienced boaters and very accommodating with shuttle over to the mainland. You can find everything there for your stay; grocery store, liquor stores, restaurants, shops, museums, art galleries. We visited the Roy Henry Vickers Gallery; a very peaceful, beautiful showcase for his fine art.Of note: The houseboat sits off Strawberry Island which is also home to the retired NorVan Ferry. The ferry was hauled out of the water and now sits nestled on the shore. Pretty awesone to see it perched there."

"Well equipped kitchen. When the sun is out this place gets warm, which is great with the wide open deck and great views. Unbelievable sunsets that can be enjoyed while cooking dinner, on the deck, or in the hot tub! Close to town and the beach. The kids all had a great time relaxing and playing games at the dining table and then stargazing after a good soak in the hot tub. We even saw a pacific grey whale heading towards town from the deck one evening. Would absolutely come back and stay again. "
