The hotel room was really clean and tidy. The staff were very nice. Breakfast was great with healthy options as well. There is a Family Mart store next door and lots of restaurants to choose from. The only thing which I felt concerned about was that the people in the area didn’t seem very friendly towards international tourists. While the location might be great for locals, it didn’t feel the same way for people from overseas. When my partner and I got off at the train station on Sunday, there was a protest outside the station against immigration. We had no idea and felt quite unsafe as we witnessed a near physical altercation. While this is not the hotel’s fault or doing, I think it is important for overseas travellers to be aware and be prepared.

Good location. Close (within 10 minutes walk) to Ochanomizu, Yushima, and sushi to-chi stations. Convenience store next door. Fair number of restaurants including a good French place just down the street. Large temples and shrines nearby. Rooms are tiny but clean. Small refrigerator with in room. Very complicated sink/shower fixture that took a while to figure out. Staff friendly. On the downside, staff seems to know little about the surrounding area and I got towels delivered each night although I told them I didn’t need new ones. That said, affordable and just fine if all you need is a place to sleep and will be spending most of your time out and about.

If you can deal with the smaller than average space, Clean room (can be cleaned everyday upon request), friendly and helpful staff, Great breakfast, great location (5-6 minute walk from the closest station and Akihabara, steps away from a Familymart).

Overall enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean, and the staff was very friendly. No complaints other than the breakfast. The breakfast was the same every day and was a very small variety of food. You could also pay like normal for a few $ more than booking with the breakfast option. Breakfast wasn't bad by any means in terms of quality.
