This was a nice hotel, not luxurious and definitely not terrible, just nice. Great price, nice toiletry amenities provided, and comfortable/clean space.

I would NEVER stay here again!!!! This is a scam! The photos look nothing like the reality. Also there was a window in our room that wouldn't close which brought light in making it hard to sleep. In addition, the room is not modern which was promised and our hairdryer was sparking. It almost caught my hair on fire! In addition the room was very dirty. Also the beds were just mattresses. They were not real beds! And the futons are tiny 3 inch mattresses. I was very disappointed and won't ever be coming back. So if you stay and hate it...just know that you have been warned...

Booking this was a mistake. The staff very obviously didn’t want to be there and on checking out one of the girls was holding back tears as if she’s been getting yelled at, very uncomfortable and unprofessional way to deal with employee issues. We booked a triple room and were lead out of the property without explanation a block away into a dodgy looking building with no reception. The building is surrounded by restaurants whose exhaust blow directly into the entry way emitting very strong a foul fishy smell. The exhausts also blow into the ventilation inside the room causing our room to smell like fish guts, we had to keep turning the ventilation off. The beds are rock hard and the pillow you are given is tiny. My back is killing me after staying there 6 nights. The photos advertised are misleading, our room looked nothing like them & the lift in this building doesn’t seem to have a sensor and will close on you with force. This accomodation very nearly spoiled my whole Tokyo experience… spend a little extra and get a decent hotel. Shinjuku is a cool area though, just not this hotel.
