By day it's just another narrow alleyway common in Tokyo, but at night the street turns into a mini nightlife area for the salarymen of Tokyo. With numerous tiny #bar lining up, the nickname comes from the fact in the past so many drunk salarymen doing their "bussiness" there because there's no toilet anywhere in this alleyway. Today, regulation has been set in the area so it is a lot cleaner than before. The alleyway is very narrow and can only fit at maximum 2 people at a time so be mindful of your surrounding when visiting especially when there's many drunk people walking by from the bars. The bars are also very tiny and can only fit less than 10 people at a time. If you are not claustrophobic give them a try, it's a special experience on its own :)

This was a run of the mill hostel. I could appreciate the location and facilities. The showers were glorious as I'd just climbed Mt. Fuji; however, I was grossed out as there was hair and people had left their personal items in the shower. I think if you don't enjoy a lot of social interactions and need a cheap place to stay in Shinjuku - this is your spot.

HEATER WAS DIRECTLY BLOWN IN MY BED

I could not sleep at night it was too hot. The heater was in front of my bed. I was sweating the whole night . There was no front desk agent anymore to address on my concern
